Can we rev-match with our tiptronic?

Hello All, somebody told me that you can rev-match downshift using our tiptronic paddles by blipping the throttle. I tried it but I don't think it was possible . Does anyone know ?

I believe this is not possible. You might want the new Nissan 370Z

A buddy on the AMG Private Lounge can throttle blip his automatic E55 station wagon....but he's a former IMSA racer. So I suppose it's how "good" you are, but I suspect it can be done. It may take an awful lot of practice for a n00b like myself.

As far as changing the transmission/engine ECU software to throttle-blip, I agree with the others here it is not possible - at this time.

It can be done, I do it all the time. It's just a matter of timing and hand foot coordination. Try it first at a higher gear, like from 4th to 3rd. After a while you'll get the hang of it.

Yes you can! It will require a 1 second delay and a 50% throttle blip. I would just mess with it until you find the sweet spot. My SRT8 shares the same tranny as you guys and I can do it perfectly....

Does it have any effect on the tranny?
I tried doing it on my E350 Coupe with Muffler delete and resonator X pipe and man... Im now addicted to it.
Been researching a lot but didn’t find any info on whether im hurting my tranny or its completely okay. Cause it feel way too smooth than normal downshifts. Smooth enough to make you feel that it should be the correct way to downshift. Can anybody please tell anything
