Help me understand why!!!!

Help me understand why!!!!

Is the CLK55 AMG the only (or one of the only) AMG car that doesnt have the supercharged motor. I been trying to understand why mecerdes benz just doesn't put the supercharged motor, larger brakes,and better handling in each one of their cars and call them AMG models. I'm stumped! This has really been bothering me. If I'm understanding right the E55 AMG has something like 150 or so more horses then the E500, but the CLK55 AMG has something like 69 or so horses over the CLK 500 . Also the E55 has scorching performance (it smokes almost everything on the road). The CLK has average performance. I think it may be slower then the 350z, G35 coupe, RX8,S2000, and Boxter(sorry if I'm wrong). I hear so much praise about the E55 and why so many people want it for its performance and features. I dont hear much about the CLK55 except that it is one of the slowest AMG models besides the SUVs. Somebody please explain why. I think if the CLK had matching performance as the E55 so many people would look up to it instead of looking down at it.

The CLK is based on the C-Class, which doesn't have a V8 engine at all, but a supercharged V6. The supercharged V8 may be too powerful for the smaller platform to handle. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

That's not true. There are also the ML 55 and the G 55. Furthermore the V6 Kompressors will probably run out and will be replaced by the same 5.5 l V8 (later on based on 4V technology).

Which means there will be a C55AMG W203 coming out soon????
