THE blower thread
I'll put some more detailed polish into this with the dremel later tonight. Put a fine polish on the blade faces and shaft...... some posts claim CEL with putting a knife edge on the blade.... so I'll refrain. ME 2.8 = so sensative

I hope to make more power soon with some modifications by Amad. Just waiting from some parts to arrive to complete the install. I also had some parts and my rims powder coated black. I will then have the car remote tuned by Jerry at the Shelby dyno shop. Rest in peace Carroll Shelby. Thanks for the parts Amad.

Oh and I don't think blackbenz was referring to your car with his comment.... he was commenting about the throttle body grinding mod. (IMHO)
I pulled the cover off the TB connector side to see if I could remove the shaft. I looks to be press fit with clocking sping connectors for the blade position, so I'll leave that alone. But I will grind that shaft down a wee bit more with the blade removed.
* passed emmissions again no issues.
* LTFT's 1.05/1.05 in July heat 95 deg.... so tune is happy.
Next round of mods (notional):
* Voistener rear spoiler CF.
* Considering having car resprayed while adding spoiler.... perhaps a fun aftermarket new front clip (but we'll see).
* TB shaft grind - IP now.
* MBH LT headers
* Considering eisenman dual setup installed at same time as LT's.
* Rear diffuser CF - as same time as paint work and rear spoiler.

Didn't you have the car repainted around the time of the KLEEMANN install? Maybe I'm wrong bt I thought you did.
I'm shooting for something better than mid 80's fomoco quality paint work

MBH headers are going on this thing.
Eissenman Sport Quad Exhaust on order.
VIS rear diffuser on order.
LED Tails on order. (non-smoke).
Voistener Tail on order.
HR spacers on order.
Time for a wee little update for the clk-k.

Thanks all for letting me copy your brilliance!
Thx for the ideas. Until I see what you guys do to these little cars, I really don't have an idea of how Bad-Azz and individual you can take these cars...... they go from secretery commuter to bad-azz with some tasteful mods.....
I reviewed my next stage of ex mods with cory and it's a go. I should see some more tq with the lt's..... and he said no HP gain just noise from the catback..... but I'm ready for some more noise.... I'm hoping for C63 tone...... my wifes old c63 had the BEST cold start tone I've heard.

As much as I was tossing around the idea of snagging those headers from you, I'm glad your tossing them on. Please do us all a favor though and do a dunno run immediately before and after the swap - very interested to see where the gains are made over the KLEEMANN tubes.
I was content until I saw Kev-woods ride looking a pretty and gussied up in CF trim.
Ohhhh la la.
Spent a little time with the clk today....
Installed a used set of H&R 10mm spacers front/rear on my slk55 amg multispoke wheels.
I was not a big fan of this until my bud told me the 930 turbo of old came with huge spacers in the back from the factory, so if it's good enough for the ole 930 it's good enough for me. He also told me the key is to use a quality part and not some junk no-name spacers.
So I put them on...... love the stance, but the ride not so much.... had a wee shake at 80+ (in mexico)...... so came home re-grouped...... pulled it all apart... and found quite a bit of crud/rust/dirt on the mating surfaces of the wheels, rotors, spacers..... So took the air tools out and sanded down all sfcs to clean materials. Re-assemble and it rides better than before I put the spacers on. I suspect the wheels had a build up before the spacers.
No rubbing issues either with stock AMG SLK55 wheels 18" and 10mm spacers all around.
It's all stock ride-height stock clk55 suspection.... I need the ground clearance for daily driving duties.
The 2nd part of my day..... when I had the car @ a shop not to be mentioned today... it's sunday...... they said they bled the brakes...... so I just assumed it was all good..... but the car never really stopped well..... even after new front rotors/pads, and new rear pads....... SO I did the one-man bleed job on the back brakes.... and front....... holy cow the putrid green fluid that came out was terrible.
Now it brakes about 90% of my wifes old c63....... almost locked them up on the highway the 1st stab!!
So i'm pleased with my self today.
...
Led tail lights come in tomorrow.
CF diff this week, CF tail this week...... eissenman this week......
Inquiring about the DTM steering wheel with paddles.....
Oh the humanity.

I don't need the 15mm set..... so they are for sale. $50 + ship.
Here's the org post:

Curious -
* Will the BS sway bolt-in like dynomites thead claims? PTE says no way... he tweaked his bs sway to match the offset of the stocker.
* It appears kevblah was able to run duals even with the stock sway.... just run the psg side a little lower...... doesn't look too bad.... in fact you could just put a slight U-shape to clear the stock sway bar on the psgr side......
* Is there another stock clk55 with duals..... non-bs that I could use that swaybar to clear duals... and be a true bolt-on?
