compression ratio:

easy way, if there are thicker headgaskets already available or have custom ones made. lower compression.......increase boost
$$$$$
hard way, swap in piston/rod assy's from an e55 amg. it will take you from 10.5:1 to 9.0:1
edit: common mistake peeps make with boost is compression bc the power increase with added boost isn't linear
for example:
engine 1 10.5:1 engine boosted 7lbs 510hp maxed out
engine 2 8.5 engine boosted 12 lbs 762hp maxed out
same engine minus compression
meaning the power increase doesn't correspond with the numbers. only X factors is engine efficiency and HEAT!!! and of course detonation but any competent tuner should be able to deal with that.
If anyone in the know has the low-down on where to source, and the blower mods (porting) please help out.
I'm prob adding this to the mix.
Also chime in with anything I'm missing mod wise for the motor.
