If it has to do nothing with performance its getting rid of that crappy headunit.

8.5 x 18 inch front and 10 x 18 inch rear 2 piece AMG wheels. Built by BBS, they were optional on the R129 SL. They bolt right on and do not rub.

Agreed when I had mine, the 18" Monoblock IIs, plus the Brabus springs.

Interesting.

I personally enjoy taking out the cup holder insert for the center console. No drinks in my ride. Cars are for driving.

Hah agreed when hearing those shifter horror stories mine came right right out next day. Now reserved for chewing *** and air freshener.
For aesthetics mod;
Cheap: Tint
Pricey: New bumper

Under the Hood:
Cheap: SprintBooster
Pricey: Supercharger (DUH!)

Interior:
Cheap: Double-din touch screen stereo that has pandora
Pricy: CLK Black front seats or some lightweight seats that matches my 2 tone interior.

Every bit counts. Has anyone tried putting the antenna somewhere a little more discreet? I do not use the audio system at all (with that engine who would?) but the misses does drive it time to time, and the antenna recently broke when she took it through an automatic wash. I'm indifferent as I'd just shave the whole thing off, and patch the roof. But in the interest of keeping the functionality has anyone tinkered with that?

Edit: We did chat about not using an automatic wash in the future. I have no qualms about getting out the bucket myself. As I do regularly.

More power to you to shave it off. The little nipple your roof is just for GPS and intergrated cell. Which most ppl don't even use. AM and FM antenna is either just inside the rear pillar or in the window i forgot but its not the roof nipple. If you simply just wanna replace it ebay has a ridgid plastic version, to solve this common problem. But go for shaving it, i wanna see it done

2001 CLK 55 AMG.......... 2001 Corvette Z06.........
So far:

Looks: replace that crappy grille and hood ornament(so 1970's). I counted them as one mod.

Performance: gutting all 4 cats

To come:

Looks: I will thoroughly enjoy removing those crappy starfish wheels and going with a custom dual exhaust setup.

Perf: a ecu reflash and something else I'm not gonna mention yet until I have them. >:-)
