No experience, but I know they're not as aggressive as PTE cams. SLR cams are similar to Kleeman cams and are mild. From what I remember the SLR cams have less lift but more overlap than the stock 55K cams. I have the specs on them if needed.

I have a W209 CLK 55 and if I add: headers, x-pipe,tune would it hit 400 hp???
Or would I have to add the renntec air box?
Thank you all for the info.

If you go with MBH headers, a good tune, and find a shop that can do an x-pipe, heard it is not the easiest on our cars.
I think 400fwhp should be possible.

A gain is a gain but dang those are low numbers. If you put a cam in an LS3 it hit just about 500 hp.
I was in visioning adding: tune, exhaust, headers, renntec air box, and cams to = 415 rwph. What do you all think?
Since its not going to hit my goal i can take that mod money and it to my savings for a clk 63 black.

I'll let you know in the next few months... already have Kleemann headers and dual exhaust with no cats or resonator...just bought PTE cams and still have a new AMS crank pulley to install, and will be purchasing an Evosport UDP set. Working on a high-flow intake, then a custom dyno tune by Eurocharged

Bone stock these things put down 290ish wheel hp. I believe the highest N/A dyno for a M113 with the 5speed was in the 380's by hooleyboy. Dre put down 377whp I believe.
I do not think that above 400whp is possible N/A. More important than wheel hp though is 1/4 mile times. Take it to the track for some 1320 action. If you run 12's you have done good.
Btw: If you don't want to go crazy on the mod budget, just get a tune, kleemann headers, and some AFE pro-dry S filters. May set you back only 1500, but will transform the car.

But I thought Kleeman does not sell headers for the W208 anymore?
And the cheapest tune I found was $900.
What you guys think?
Do you guys think that fitting the 2005 CLK55 intake onto my W208 helped?

Dre put down 377whp, and yes he is N/A.
The SLK55 was also N/A.
Kind of difficult to confuse a supercharged car for an N/A one lol.
I will not search for all the threads...but here is Dre's 377whp N/A thread. Please note the mention of the other two N/A dynos, one being hooley boy, the other being the SLK55.

Only LSxs take to cam swaps like that lol.

Hi Guys,
The W208/W209 and W210 boards seem to be the most active in modding their M113 N/A motors so I've been reading up quite a bit on many of your threads.
This thread in particular caught my attention because I've been interested in some incremental mod numbers for the M113 N/A motor. On the W463 boards there aren't many people modifying the pre supercharged M113's.
Does anyone know the whp gain for Kleemann shorty headers plus cats plus ecu tune on an M113 N/A?
I was able to find a used set from this board and will be installing them on my 2003 G55 within the next couple of weeks.
I also bit the bullet and ordered the Kleemann Supercharger system for the M113 5.5. It's somewhere over the Pacific Ocean now and I should have it by next week. Needless to say I'm very excited for install and the results.
I'll be documenting the install on a separate thread. Before I go on with the install, does anyone who has done a similar install have any input about things to look out for and to pay close attention to? Since I'm in the Philippines, there are no authorized Kleemann installers here. I'll be doing the install with my indy mechanic.

As for who else makes headers for your car, I believe OBX has headers for W208/W209.
There's also a set on ebay for sale now. I don't know how good they are though.

When hooley boy's car was N/A, it made those numbers. It was before his supercharger and may have been his 100 octane tune. Cannot remember.

His mods are listed in this thread as well as his dyno.

My car with present mods put out 337rwhp(Kleemann cams at the time I think!) took them out and sold them back then as well. Still gonna one day get the PTE cams or just drop in the S/C.

Hooley boys car N/A is not putting out 389rwhp corrected. NoWAY!!!! Uncorrected perhaps!
The 1/4 mile # your car posted tells me alot as well. 13.5 @105 mph if this was prior to your exh build I'll assume.
Headers SW and exhaust wake these cars up but not 70rwhp!
