Sure there is love.
I think the CLK63 Cab had only 300 imported into the USA so there was a small demand.
Not sure on the 55. I gather coupe owners out number the cab owners 10 to 1.
If you love convertibles w/ usable 4 seats there are few options.
INHI the one mod really improve the cabrios....posi traction differential.

There were 4327 CLK55 coupes and 2,964 CLK55 cabs sold in the US. Cabs were unavailable in 2001 and 2003, while coupes were unavailable after 2005.
There were 243 CLK63 cabs sold in the US and 367 CLK Black Series coupes.
There were allegedly no DTMs sold in the US, although I’ve seen four real DTMs here in So Cal.

Wow, more CLK63 Black Series than CLK63 Cabrios! That's certainly interesting. Odd thing is I've seen 4 CLK63 Cabrios and only 2 Black Series in the US.
I think what is a more useful piece of info is, though, how many 209 CLK55 Cabrios are in the US. Not the total number including 208s.

'06 CLK55 AMG Cabriolet
I've got an 06 clk55 cabrio, I love it!! Whats cool is that 06 was the last year the clk55 was made and only 180 were brought to the US. Its got the updated nav, bose audio, bumper, grill, tail lights, fog lights, dual xenons, bluetooth, ipod, 6 disk cd, 6/4 piston brakes, updated suspension, tighter steering ratio, cooling differential fin, 18" wheels, heated/ventilated multicontour seats, keyless go, and paddle shifters allllll stock. Its a blast to drive.

During its three year run, 1,624 W209 CLK55 cabs were sold in the US.
1,340 W208 CLK55 cabs were sold in 2002 alone.
The two years of W208 CLK55 coupe sales were much higher than the three years of W209 CLK55. 2,810 (W208) versus 1,517 (W209).
I think the biggest impediment to W209 CLK55 sales was the W211 E55. By 2005, E55 sales had increased 120% over the 2002 E55, while total CLK55 sales had dropped 68%. Here's another viewpoint - In 2005, eight point nine E55s were sold for each CLK55 coupe. Had the W209 been available with a K-motor, the sales numbers may have been different

Thanks Marcus for all the sales figures. As you can see this car has a special place with me since it's our first AMG- original owner since 2001.
BTW, my car is a Canadian spec bought new at a US dealer. Would it count towards your sales figures, or do you think mine is a gray area and may not be on that list?

2005 was the big mechanical update for the clk55 but 2006 is where the new grill, bumper, fog lights, taillights and bluetooth come from.
I haven't seen many modded convertibles, much less the clk63. I've always wanted to see a supercharged vert droooool.
If anyone has a droptop clk with some mods (even rims) I would love to see it!!
