Any love for convertibles
I think the CLK63 Cab had only 300 imported into the USA so there was a small demand.
Not sure on the 55. I gather coupe owners out number the cab owners 10 to 1.
If you love convertibles w/ usable 4 seats there are few options.
INHI the one mod really improve the cabrios....posi traction differential.
There were 243 CLK63 cabs sold in the US and 367 CLK Black Series coupes.
There were allegedly no DTMs sold in the US, although I’ve seen four real DTMs here in So Cal.

I think what is a more useful piece of info is, though, how many 209 CLK55 Cabrios are in the US. Not the total number including 208s.

-xxGenericSNxx- Your r63 looks great! I love all the tasteful mods and that wald bumper really sets it off.

1,340 W208 CLK55 cabs were sold in 2002 alone.
The two years of W208 CLK55 coupe sales were much higher than the three years of W209 CLK55. 2,810 (W208) versus 1,517 (W209).
I think the biggest impediment to W209 CLK55 sales was the W211 E55. By 2005, E55 sales had increased 120% over the 2002 E55, while total CLK55 sales had dropped 68%. Here's another viewpoint - In 2005, eight point nine E55s were sold for each CLK55 coupe. Had the W209 been available with a K-motor, the sales numbers may have been different

BTW, my car is a Canadian spec bought new at a US dealer. Would it count towards your sales figures, or do you think mine is a gray area and may not be on that list?
It's a shame that we never got the CLK63 Coupe here (aside from the black series). I'd imagine the power bump of the CLK63 cabrio or BS is going to make the car have some very drastic differences in driving dynamics compared to CLK55s.
@mercamerica Is the reason why your CLK55 Coupe has all those upgrades because 2006 was the year of the facelift? And thank you!

2005 was the big mechanical update for the clk55 but 2006 is where the new grill, bumper, fog lights, taillights and bluetooth come from.
I haven't seen many modded convertibles, much less the clk63. I've always wanted to see a supercharged vert droooool.
If anyone has a droptop clk with some mods (even rims) I would love to see it!!
