CLK63 (non-BS) tire size question
Looking to upgrade the wheels on my 07 CLK63 cab. Does anyone know what the max width I can run in the front/rear on a 19" wheel is without rubbing? I was looking at doing a 275 in the rear on a 9.5/10" wheel but I don't know if the clearance is there and don't have the car in front of me to check.
TIA!
TIA!

On mine I have 265/30/19 on rear (9.5/19) and 235/35/19 on front (8.5/19) and there is really few space available, but I have KW competion set up so the car is lower than a stock CLK 63

My setup is 19"x8.5 front and 19"x9.5 Rear, total et25 on both (Wheel et35 + 10mm spacer) with 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
With this setup, I had rubbing issues in the rear which I detailed how I dealt with it here:

I still have a very slight rub in the front, at the plastic wheel cover between the headlight and the front wheel (plus, the tire comes VERY close to my Bilstein HD struts). Not a deal-breaker, but not ideal. When I replace my front tires, I will go with Michelin Pilot Super Sports (again) with the size of 235/30/19. This will shorten the height of the tire by 11.75mm (or by ~.5"), which will take care of the rubbing I described.
