Looking for a set of Performance M113 Cams

Hello, new to posting on the forum but long time lurker/reader.

Im looking for a set of performance Camshafts for my 2004 CLK55.

I know from time to time a used set will get posted for sale, so if you anyone has a set they would like to sell I’m a buyer!

other then that does anyone have any other brand recommendations other then the RaceIQ, VRP & Kleeman? I’ve heard of other options but hoping to hear some recommendation, specifically a quality company that may be a bit cheaper then the above mentioned usual companies?

thanks!

unless you go the supercharger route, i recommend you keep your w209 amg ones as they are the best ones available for NA m113 (ignoring slk55 black series cams which you can't get and only provide marginal improvement)

thanks for opinion, are you speaking from experience on running different cams?

I rode in a C55 that had some kleeman cams & it definitely pulled harder up top..I was impressed.

just a heads up he changed his mind on selling his PTE cams, ask me how I know 😖😖😖 I wanted those since they're rare and have a mean idle since I want a muscle car sound someone did hit me up on insta asking if I was looking for a set but at the time I thought I was still getting centerlines. Message me on Instagram and ill try to connect you 2 since I'd rather wait for another PTE cam. You can also look into cat cams but its a lot of raw information like cam angle and duration which I don't know enough information to make a wise choice. My insta is Fidel_CashFlow5

i wouldn't say i didn't like them, just that they are not suited for NA cars. it hurt performance a little bit at the top end, i def feel like my car now pulls harder up top. again this is only about 10hp in a car making around 360 to the wheels. barely noticeable. unless you are planning to supercharge your car in the future i would highly recommend against doing it given cost & labor involved.

that’s interesting & a bit of a shame… I definitely won’t be spending $2k to feel slower! Lol

anyone have any experience with RaceIQ cams?
