W208 Amg's came with Bilstein HD shocks. They didn't come with the sport shocks. The sport shocks are shorter, they wouldn't work with stock springs. The sport shocks are made to go with H&R's. The Euro Spring is just a little shorter than the stock spring. When using the Euro Spec spring you do not need to install shorter shocks. The H&R's drop the car alot more then the Euro-Spec Springs. I wanted to keep my car as stock as possible.

Finally got everything installed yesterday. New Shocks, Springs, Spring Pads, Ball Joints, Steering Damper, and Lower Control Arm Bushings. I will post pics soon. I just want to say I LOVE IT. I feel like I'm driving a Brand New Car. I believe the car sits about 1" lower all the way around. I am glad I went this route, keeping everything stock. The H&R's in my opinion drop the car entirely to much, kind of make it look to Ghetto. I would recommend the Euro Springs to everyone. Thanks CHAPPY for starting this thread, if it wasn't for you, I probably would have ended up with the H&R's (Camber issues, Bone Jarring Ride, and to Low). If anyone has any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Here's a funny one...... FedEx called me and said before they can let my springs and spring pads out of customs they need to know what they are made of.
I called back and said...Hmmm....how about steel.

Part numbers for W209 Euro spec springs:

Front Springs (these are big and wide): # A 203 321 50 04

Rear Springs (These are tightly coiled and narrow): # A 210 324 34 04

Just got them FedExed today.
Unfortunately I only got 1 pair of spring pads. Gert forgot the other pair so I e-mailed him today. I think I got the 5mm but not the 9mm. Here's the part number on the pads I got:

A 210 3250 184 (5mm pads?)

Ok I know how to get a hold of Gert but how do I get a a hold of steve? I'm sure sounds like a stupid question but I'm new on the boards who is now starting to fix up my clk55. Any Info much appreciated. I will start posting as I start adding things to my car. I will also post pics.

So I guess the W209 CLK55 doesn't use front spring pads, only rear. This car sure is strange. Getting them installed August 6th. Crossing fingers.

I can't believe this thread is that old (Nov. 2004). Man - has life changed - since these springs were purchased.

Early Summer 2004 - Springs purchased
Mid Summer 2004 - Got engaged
Fall 2004 - Installation complete
Feb. 2005 - Got married
Feb. 2007 - Had a baby boy!

I still have the springs, still love them and have no camber issues.

Watch out single guys - these springs could bring you a family too!

Hey guys I'm trying to buy the rear springs from Steve but I'm not sure if its him or someone else but they are telling me they only take money orders or Wire transfer and trust me I've learned my lesson in the past . I can't understand how we are in 2007 and people still don't use paypal or creditcard payment over the internet on a secure online payment system. Guess I'm going to have to buy them from Gert. Unless you guys know if Steve accepts another form of payment or if he has a different email address. Once again thanx for the help.

Its all good. Just send him the money order and in about 2 weeks you'll have your springs. I have bought many things from STEVE and thats all he accepts. Nothing to worry about at all. People don't like to take paypal, because its to easy for the buyer to open a dispute and tie the persons money up for months. Believe me everyone on this forum would vouvh for steve and his service.

Thank you. Thats all I needed to hear a little word of confidence. I will be emailing steve again and letting him know that a money order will be sent to him and that the guys on here vouched for him. I just hate sending money orders you know. Thanx again. Pics will be taken once springs are on.

But over time your car will also sag and be very hoppy with them. I even had to use #4 pads front and rear and the car was still too low and getting lower. You'll see

Chappy saw my car with them. I hated them and I got rid of them and went to the stck springs cut and have no regrets. Got rid of the Eibach's as well. They made the ride and the handling of the car terrible. You will soon see what you're missing not buying the MB springs. The H&R's will perhaps work better on Mcpherson strut setups like the newer C and CLK's have.
