But that steering wheel does look very nice though.

Jon, I'm so glad you responded - especially here, because when I'm done, you won't have much credibility and this place will be better off. So, as you read this, just understand something - THIS time, you only have yourself to blame. Nobody did this to you, Jon....you did it all on your own.

Because, I have seen how you do business, spent hundreds of hours in your shop....the shop you are currently being EVICTED from....but we'll get to that a bit later. I sent multiple enthusiast friends with deep pockets to you....as did Gene, my old and very close friend you referenced above. Not only did you F up Genes E55 wagon when trying such a mundane task as fitting a black series wheel to it (all his warning lights lit up likt a Christmas tree) just to show it could be done, then posted pics here saying it was a plug and play yet it required a dealer reflash. LIE.
How about Ari's blacked out E63 that you have posted many pics of on this site....Wow, where should I begin....The HRE's you installed rubbed like crazy, so you roll the fenders and CRACK the PAINT. Then have it resprayed, horrible blend lines and pitted paint that feels like 1000 grit sandpaper. Niiiiiice. Lets not forget while it was under your supervision someone took it joyriding, took their kids to school, curbed a wheel, drove it 40 miles and left the tank empty. LOL !!!! Yes, you are a consummate professional, Jon. Shall I have both Ari and Gene come here and post their affirmation ???
Or how about my buddy Dave. He has 4 E30 M3's, and E46 and a new M5. You spent a month on his E30 track car, block, heads, tranny everything in a million pieces. You told him it'd take a "week or so". A month later nothing is done....You tell people he's an idiot and you "pad his bill and he just pays it". You are not even smart enough to know that what you say will come back to people it shouldn't.
So, I think those are very good examples of how our personal lives intersected with you business.

Ummm...really, how did you "take care" of my BS, Jon ???? Perhaps you mean when you asked to tear my car apart to do R&D work to sell here and I told you to take a hike ? Or, maybe it was when you let me use your lift to change my oil after a track day. And you clearly don't remember that I went and bought a case of Mobile 1 because you were out. Did you also forget that you said my car doesn't have a dipstick ? LOL....that was funny. And as far as you hooking me up with a car at sticker....gee, thanks genius....how many are listed at sticker on autotrader right now ? 15 or so ?? Well played Jon.

Really, you didn't intend to give a response ?? Yes, we were friends, for a brief period and not even true friends at that Jon. You tried to use me....as you do everyone and ensnare them into your web of lies and deceit. You asked me to partner with you, and buy half of your dying business for $150k which I promptly dismissed. I don't bet on losers, Jon. How do you think I can afford what I have while you rent a dump on the outskirts of Beverly Hills??? As far as the differing views we have on situations, I can only assume the "situation" you are referring to is the boat that I OWN. Yet, you have told numerous people that YOU own it. Shall I post the title, Jon ? Oh yeah, and this is the Cigarette boat we agreed we would buy together back in August of last year. I found the boat and you asked me to front your half for you - $80k. You said you'd have it in a month or so, but could give me $40k up front and make payments on the rest....I told you to try and finance it with my bank and I even vouched for you to my personal banker and they in turn after running your credit and past financial history told me that they would strongly advise me doing ANY business with you. So I write a check for the boat, just like I did my Black Series. And what happens, you want to take it out on your own....I have the emails, shall I post those too, Jon ?? So, in case you forgot.....you then want to put the 5 blade props off your old boat (which you crashed) on MY boat. And for those of you that don't know much about props and high performance boats....putting a 5 blade prop on the drives I USED TO HAVE, was like putting slicks on a car with weak axles and then BLAMO - the drive snaps....and that's just what happened when genius put them on. Oh, but lets not forget.....the first time he put them on, he put them on backwards, in his shop. Counter-rotating drives spin inwards and when put on backwards (meaning the port on the starboard drive and starboard on the port) you go in the opposite direction to which the drive is engaged. So Jon puts the props on backwards, and we take it out. Launch the boat and Jon wants to drive so I say fine, I'll cast off. I untie the boat, he puts it in reverse and instead of backing away from the dock, the boat lunges forward and rams the opposite dock causing $3000 in damages. That I never asked you for did I Jon ? Nor did I ever ask you pay for the drive you broke. That cost me $7000 and I decided to upgrade both drives. So, perhaps Jon, you can send me a bill "taking care of my Black Series", and I'll send you a bill for the boat and the damages you caused. Would you like that ? Hey, just another bill on top of the numerous lawsuits you are involved in right now. Not to mention, as I said earlier, the eviction from the space you are in right now....
So, answer something for us all, Jon. Are you, or are you not being EVICTED right now ? It' a simple yes or no question...and if you LIE, like you always do, then I will post a copy of the eviction notice.

Funny how you just always need to have final word!!! As for the boat if that’s what you want to believe then fine! I don’t even care if you don’t care for where I live...
Even if i have had issues with my landlord; im still here and not going anywhere. I can also post the deposition where he lied! If I was so called being evicted; I would be closed by now! That is not true! But if you feel that you need to be correct then say what you want.
I cannot stop you from bashing me but I don’t understand why you continue with this.
I never asked to disassemble you Black Series... Just wanted to read the ECU & TCU...As for the E55... The car has no warranty due to the fact that it was voided due to add ons that I never did to the car! The steering angle sensor was defective... A known issue in the 55 AMG... Which I fixed!!!
As for Ari's car He wanted a 295’s on the rear, therefore needed to have the fenders rolled. I explained that they were not 100% and Idid not charge for it. I offered to fix it. It was is choice to not have the job finished!
As for the BMW yes it took a little longer... but there were several changes throughout the process which in turn took longer to finalize the job. In the car is being finished properly!

The boat; you were there when we put the props on. But you may say its all my fault go ahead…
You have a personal vendetta and out to get me.
I have better things to do then continue going back and forth with you.
I am happy with where I am... I am not going anywhere even though you state otherwise!
Too bad you feel the need to discredit my company.

Jon, Jon, Jon….Lets get something straight. YOU are the one who brought up our “personal” issues. Thus, as the CO-OWNER of 110 Motoring, our personal lives and “issues” became part of your business. As you admitted above, you asked to use my PERSONAL car for business purposes. Did you ever offer to compensate me for the down time on my vehicle or any potential sales related to the R&D work you proposed ? NO, you didn’t. The point is, our personal lives were very much intertwined in you business. And that is why I have made the other members here aware of exactly what kind of person and business owner you really are – Because your personal life and your business go hand in hand. And for the record, you don’t own 110 Motoring, Ilan does…he just bankrolls you while you rack up massive bills on his Black Amex that you flash around as your own….

As far as your eviction is concerned, well, only time will tell….Anyone familiar with lease agreements knows that an eviction, if fought, can be prolonged for up to nine months. I figure you have a few more months before they boot your sorry ***.

With regards to my boat. Yes, I was in the shop the day you installed the 5 blade props. Actually, if you remember correctly, I was standing there watching you because I was and always have been skeptical of your mechanical knowledge. Again, they were YOUR props off your old boat that you crashed and I assumed you knew what you were doing - man was I ever wrong.... So, while you were installing the props, I asked, “Do you know what you’re doing?” And your standard response was, “OF COURSE, I’M A PROFESSIONAL.” LOL, yeah, professional idiot. The fact of the matter remains, Jon. You installed them backwards and in turn caused damage to my boat. But, I find it interesting that even to this day you cannot admit your mistake, accept blame and move on….you have some major psychological problems Jon. It’s actually quite interesting to see just exactly how a pathological liar believes his own lies.

I am in no way shape or form trying to discredit your company as you suggest above. I am simply informing the other members here about my experiences with you both personally and professionally. This is only my opinion, take it FWIW.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! A wonderful life!!! I have nothing else to say!!! I hope that you are happy with the words you typed!!! I do not feel that I have to explain myself anymore to you! I will not use MBWorld as a "Boxing Ring". I have not brought up anything about how I feel about you as a person. I will not lower myself to that! But I am sure you will want to have the last word... No worries I will not respond. This site is a wonderful place for sponsors just a few hick-ups when people have a personal vendetta; they are able to simply not tell the entire truth!

Just to add a little balance, you seem to be a slow learner LZH ... or you're exceptionally patient.

I would have kicked him (her or anyone like that) to the curb long, long before amassing that many horror stories.

Off topic, but very nice Cig Playboy! Did you buy that one from Ted in Ohio? IIRC, there are only 2 of the black playboy boats still around.

I just sold mine a few months ago, warm weather is here & I'm pissed...

Yes, I bought the boat from Ted and spent the winter doing a ton of work on her. I think Ted is feeling the same way you are right now
I have no idea why he sold it as they are such unique and sought after boats/hulls. Glad to meet a fellow boater on here, your boat looks amazing - why did you sell it ??? Also, looks like you have XR uppers and shorty IMCO lowers ? I just put the same package on mine and it didn't like the 1" shorter X dimension so I just installed the IMCO spacer.

I sold mine because I really didn't have the time to use it. 9 times in 2 years. I got much more use out of my 28' Active Thunder. Part of the problem is the shallow gulf water where most of my friends want to take their boats, vice going to the Atlantic. My boat (especially the lowers) did not like shallow, thick seagrass water. My next boat will probably have regular bravo lowers with a side pickup; the nose pickup on the shortys just plowed seagrass in, filled the strainers insanely fast & helped burn up impellers almost every single time I took it out in the gulf.... Disgusting...

The boat did have XR uppers & the IMCO shorty lowers. I'm fortunate enough to have Tres Martin live here & we had several solutions to make the boat run even better, although to most it would have been just fine.

One of his big things was that the shortys were too high for that hull & that a 1" spacer would make the boat handle better & even probably pick up a few mph. I was running 83-84 on Merc 500efi's with a AZ speed & Marine kit on it & 5 blade Merc props.

Have you taken Tres' performance boating class? I took it a few years ago & never regretted it, it will definitely teach you how to run your boat; very similar to taking a class from Skip Barber or Bondurant, etc.

WOW!
I love this tech talk.

Of course as a landlubber, you might as well be typing in Greek.
But if it goes fast and can be modded, you got my vote. (Don't tell Obama.)

Sounds like the larger diameter pickups on the IMCO lowers were your bigest problem. I had to install a blow off kit after I put the shorties on becasue I was seeing too much water pressure. Luckily here in the Pacific you don't pick up too much debris, except for the random plastic bag floating around in the harbor...had that happen a couple weeks ago and though I lost another impeller put after taking a little swim with a mask to inspect the pickup everything was good.
I had the same problem you described when going to the shortie lowers....reducing the X dimension by one inch made a huge difference - ESPECIALLY trying to get the boat on plane. I have two sets of props I've been working with; a set of Hydromotive 5 blades and the standard Bravo 4 blades. Neither worked very well with the shorties so I recently installed the 1" spacers from IMCO. However, I'm still having a hard time with the hole shot and the 5 blades are horrible. The 4 blades see to be what this hull likes.
I'd be interested to hear eaxactly what prop you were using and how it was getting on plane. Even now, the 4 blades work, but it literally takes about 30 seconds to get on plane....
I wish I could run a different 5 blade becasue the ones I have now are great on the top end....I saw 85.3 mph on the GPS the other day (with 1000lbs of fuel, 6 people and their respective gear). But like I said, they are horrible getting on plane...

My props were Merc (Mirage??) 5 blade, 29p labbed props. Of course, this is off the top of my head & I'm out of town for a week. I'll get you solid info when I'm back at home with the boat file & pics. I'm positive they were Mercury labbed 5 blades, 90% sure on pitch.

Getting on plane was not a problem. If you hammered it, they would blow out, but then catch & go. If you eased it to about 15mph, you could open it up with no problems at all.

I won't say they were perfect, but they were pretty good. Tres wanted to send them to his prop guy & tweak them some over the factory Merc labbing & figured he could get another 1 or 2 mph out of them.

My laundry list of easy performance mods was:

1. The 1" spacer on the lowers.

2. Merc/Kiekhaffer 380 tabs. Tres swears by the longer tabs for better responsiveness. Also, my drives were on 12" IMCO boxes (no drop) so the longer tab most likely would have made a larger improvement in my scenario.

3. Sending the props out for more detailed labbing, just for the extra tweaking. I really did like the 5 blades, they would accelerate very well at pretty much any speed. Not the best for top end, but I usually wouldn't/couldn't run all out as much as I'd spend time between 50-70 mph. (At least with all the idle & manatee zones here in FL)

Well. Jon from 110motoring has confirmed for me that recommending Euroelites should not post during their problems with ballzy55 was the right choice.

Regardless of the real capabilities of 110motoring and the rest of their staff, I would never put my car in the hands of someone willing to allow themselves to be called out in public like this. It speaks to the professionalism of the company. Nothing Jon posts is personal vs business when the 110motoring logo and link are associated with his name and he has "sponsor" under it. It all reflects on 110motoring.

If one of my employees posted like this they would be fired. This actually happened when one guy was posting inappropriate information on finance.yahoo.com under the company forum. Turned out he put his real first name and he was the only one in the company who spelled his name that way. Gone. There is NO freedom of speech when it comes to how employees are expected to represent a company. I actually had one guy do this once and he was written up and the next time he was walked out. The only way I kept the customer was by calling and apologising personally. Saved me a $10M customer.

110motoring is clearly a larger operation than Euroelites. Euroelites are out of business because the detractors who they felt to be their friends on the forum demoralized them. 50% of what they were was their enthusiasm and with that gone, they gave up.

I would suggest that the forum operators have a talk with all their sponsors about how the sponsor employees should behave on these forums. They risk loosing more sponsors.

If you guys really wanna talk monohull racers, PM member BH_Law on this forum. He has run the whole gamut and had his own race team. His one embarrassing moment was having footage of him flipping over in a race shown nationally on the "Dumbest things Men Do" show that aired on the Discovery channel a year ago. Despite that, he is really a very cool guy...

I think he got a bum rep for that one anyway, it wasn't his fault, he was just running throttles on that IIRC, but in any event, he is the real deal, and you guys would love chatting with him.
