Are you sure about that $3500 figure? Back before I decided to go with the Dymags I was going to purchase another set and have them anodized black I was quoted over $6000 for the set. I thought that was high so I checked with another dealership just to be sure and they quoted me the same thing,$6000 and change...without rubber.

I am not selling my extra set. Those are mounted with the Corsas, as I run Bridgestones on a daily basis (a good tire, by the way).
I may have crossed over a line of good judgement in my post, as it reveals something I learned thru an unusual circumstance, and I would not want to "bite the hand that feeds" me, as I was the beneficiary of that circumstance.
Nonetheless, I am aware of the dealer cost, and the figure jr quotes leaves a substantial margin. I guess that leaves open the question of whether or not the dealer can electively lower prices below "list". In my case, it required instruction from a district rep. Does anybody know if there are "fixed price" rules on parts thru the dealer, or do they have lattitude? My assumption that the dealer could lower prices may be in error, as the figure jr quotes is the norm ( I think rears were $1600 and fronts $1400). AS

Would any of you know if the black seriies wheels would fit a C63 properly(offset etc), these wheels are the same design as the european wheel option offered with the C63 over there, any input would be great!

That is true for a lot of stuff. I had to change the A/C compressor on my 6.9 a couple of years ago. MB wanted $1200 for an item they buy in the US for about $300. I think I paid about $350.

I paid about $10,000 plus a couple grand for the rubber. Yes, notice a huge difference, actually had the stockers on it to drive it to Texas a while back. Acceleration is better as well as quicker turning. The one area I don't feel much of a difference is braking, I would have expected a noticable improved feel on braking. Plus they just look plain BAD A$$, the looks are woth the price alone.

Thanks for posting the picture...I've only seen Dymags on Lambo's, Vette's,and R-8's in Miami. Anyone who knows what they are should be very impressed.
BTW the original Black Series wheels were made by AVUS, the current ones are made by Alcoa as mentioned by other commentators. Other German brand tuners use USA made wheels as well. .....then mark them up 5 times and sell them with their brand name. Part of a Global economy!!
