US and EU Spec?
It seems that all the ones I drool over from America have lovely big lush leather seats and the trademark folded leather door inserts.
However, when I look at ones on autotrader uk and European sites, they appear to have those Recaros and the carbon fibre door inserts.
This is strange to me as I thought the whole point of the Black Series was to get rid of all the luxuries to make it as light as possible.
This has lead me to think there are two specs of the car, a US spec which is more luxurious and an EU spec which is more track orientated. Am I right?

It's mandated by certain federal laws that we have additional windbags in the car just in case we run out of them in Washington DC.
In the US, the seats and doors have airbags.
It seems strange why the option for all the luxury style stuff isn't available in Europe, I am sure a lot of people would appreciate that seeing as the bucket seats would probably get tiresome after a while.
We pine for the hard core stuff and you can have our luxury stuff. (Of course it would work just the opposite if we had the hard core stuff from the outset.)
We'll never run out of windbags in DC, will we Chuck?
I wonder if we can peg the value of the BS to the dollar so when the inevitable inflation run hits ..... the good guys win!

We have the DOT to thank for all the useless leather and airbags. You have AMG to thank for the all the Carbon Fiber Candy.
