Laguna Nigel has 2 Mars Red cars. Both are "new and untitled", one with 46 Miles and the other with 400 Miles.

Price quoted is 98k for the 40 mile car, and 95k for the 400 mile car...

Wow, 40k discount for 40 miles before negotiating....an offer of 88k cash would get that brand new black and make for a great deal...

You know that for sure or are you just speculating?

What if you wanted to finance or lease it? Think they'd be less likely to negotiate?

I do like the red and white as there seems to be less of each around. 94k sounds good for new but need to decide if new is worth 10k hit once I buy it as we seem to see several cars in the mid 80's right now. Thanks guys and keep me updated of any new or low mile white, red or even black cars.

i am finding the same thing biturbo. there are black and silver cars around with low mileage in the low to mid-80's. super low miles (under 2000) are asking prices of 90k-95K but still dont seem to be moving quickly. there are a few new ones with a list of 100k.

there is an awesome black one in the dupont registry with only 1000 miles and an asking price of 91k. if only it were white

not a fan of idle speculation. I spoke with my "friend" there who I bought the extended warranty for my S from. To paraphrase, "come down with a check, say inside 10k, and you'll be driving away with that car..." I don't lease but he seemed to indicate a preference for cash, though manager/owner would have final say on that...give him a call

If it weren't for the fact the wife would chop me in two if I spent another cent on autos and the fact some guy on here just paid 72k for that low miler one I'd be down there in a flash...very striking car.

Cleared that up..... Sorry, I didn't get that from your previous post.

I'm curious; doesn't the dealership usually get kickbacks if you finance/lease on site through them? If so, why would they care if you financed it vs. paying cash for it? Seems to me, they would want you to finance it b/c it's more $ for them? Either way, they get their money. The only upside for the dealer is there is no issue about whether the buyer will qualify if they have a bag full of $. Am I wrong here?

When I sell my cars inevitably somebody throws the "what's your price for a cash deal".... I don't usually say but my first thought is, what do you think I'd take..... marbles?

maybe financing is harder to come by nowadays, hence the cash deal.....but like u chuck i thought the dealer would want to make money a couple of ways on 1 car

You are right as regards financing Chuck....when I bought my M3 I told the dealer I was taking their financing rate (something ridiculous like 7%). I then changed to "cash in full" at the last minute, number had been agreed...salesman wasn't too happy but since i was a returning customer after four years they knew not to even try and play games back with me.

Possibly with Laguna Niguel they prefer the cash up front, or perhaps it was just the one guy I spoke with. FWIW, I prefer to pay cash in full when I can as I'm no financial whizz and it's one less thing to worry about....

BTW, were I in a position to buy one of these cars right now it would have to be black or white...you chose very well
