CLK 63 Black A Unique Car
I have taken the Weekend Warrior CLK 63 Black featured by H&G Motorsports on this site to several car events. The last one in SD had so many custom hi end cars featured by many vendors. What a display of stunning sports cars. Many spectators taking photos. There was the Warrior sitting between a custom Porsche GT-2 and a BMW M-3. Most eyes were drawn to the Warrior sitting there with its low stance, big wheel flares, looking very aggressive for a Mercedes.
I think it points out how unique the car is in todays world of ground up engineered sports cars. The Black is a rare car which many have never seen except in magazines.
I just want all you guys who own this true hot rod to know you have a unique and special vehicle. Only 350 came in and I don't think you will ever see anything like it again. The C-63 Black is proof of that.

I was trying to explain how special the CLK Black Series is to a friend of mine who has a very modified GT-R. He just didn't get it. Kept saying how it was overpriced, heavy, slow, and not special looking enough. I asked him when the last time he saw one on the road was, and he replied 'Never'. To which I said, 'Exactly! I have seen 2 GT-Rs today, and only ever seen 3 Black Series in my entire life. THAT...is special'. He just did not understand. WIth this car you either 'get it', or your don't.

I feel the same way. However, the day I picked up my black I saw 5 OTHER ONES driving around. Since then I think I've only seen 1 other one though

Like I said there are many fine cars out there. The GTR is special also and I'm sure the owner thinks it's the best thing since apple pie.
Its a Mercedes big block, stripped down mid size production car that was hopped up by AMG to pace the Formula 1 cars for 2 years. It is so fun to drive Jeremy Clarkson bought one. Tell your friend it's the driving experience not just the performance. Its a German Hot Rod, very few produced.
That's why at least 3 professional race car drivers own them.
I can tell you the Weekend Warrior which has been developed to its ultimate potential would not be following the GTR on the track ! You can't please everyone, Slow, give me a break ?

Just a Bit More Special...
...on the East Coast. We poor folk here in DC obviously live on the wrong side of the tracks. In addition to mine, I've seen EXACTLY one, at one of the largest Cars n Coffee events on the East Coast...Katie's...and that was about 4 years ago. Tons of Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, Austin's, but only one Black. When I last had mine at Katie's about a month ago, it was parked between a new Shelby GT 500 and new M5; had 4 lenses at once taking pics of the Black. So as the title says, just a "Bit More Special" on the other side of the country.

Yes, I can attest to the exclusivity of this vehicle. I brought it to my local Mercedes dealership for an oil change recently, and was greeted by one of the store's managers. He was taking photos, and immediately let me know how special this car was to Mercedes. He said they were having a grand opening in a couple months as they are moving to a new dealership, and they would love to have it inside their showroom as one of their premiere cars.
Wow, what a compliment to this great car! Getting back into the car after that experience, it really hit me I was driving a car that represented the pinnacle of Mercedes' AMG division.

Down for C&C next wknd?
Dec.14th let's do meet up beforehand (around 5:30am) & roll there together, arriving around 5:45am should guarantee us good parkings together in the front corrals on the right side of the entrance (if spaces weren't reserved for any Marquees). I've got another gentleman here on board (Silver), with mine (White) and yours (Black), all we need is that Unicorn Red!
