If you're interest I can modify your air boxes for better flow. Or if you can point me to the air boxes that you want on eBay and I can buy and modify. That way you can keep yours. I'm willing to help you guys get better performance on your cars. I'm good at this type of work so you will get oem fit and finish but more air flow and HP.

If anyone is interested you can email me. Thanks

I appreciate the offer, but I want to keep all the OEM parts original. I would like to just find the euro spec air boxes to replace them.

No problem.
Below is a link to one place I found. There are others but I don't know how your air box looks like. They are expensive.

Weistec has a good product, but wanted to see if I could find used. If not, I will probably just buy those.

The airboxes are off a CLK63 Black Series... I do not want to modify any of the original parts. Just purchase aftermarket pieces, so anytime I could put it back to stock if needed.

To original poster.

I bought this setup on eBay. The rubber Y that goes to the maf I bought separately (omg what a difference in power compared to the plastic stock one).

Anyway, if you look at the driver side air box you can see how I lifted the front part to match the back. This gives the air box more air volume which in turn will help engine breathe better....

If you're interested, I can mod the ones you buy. It will look very professional. The one in the picture has primer as I had to stop working on my car to do other things.

You should also install a low profile air filter. Most filters have to much bottom rubber that cause air restrictions.

This is not a black series so you can not compare power gains

Not comparing to the black series. Was comparing the rubber Y pipe to the original plastic y pipe from whatever car this air boxes came out off. Wasn't an AMG just stock car. I know the y pipe or y connector is different on your car. So I was comparing the size of small stock y pipe to big rubber y pipe and how much better the car performs with the rubber Y pipe or whatever the name is for this part.

And that was just a side note to my post on those parts.

FYI: if you pay attention, you can find ROW boxes on ebay cheaply. I recently bought a used one directly from a reseller in Germany for about $200 ($250 shipped), and it included everything upstream of the TB.
