Question Front Black Series Rotors

Does anyone know of an alternative to part# 2094210212 (front brake rotors for the CLK BS)? From my understanding MB discontinued our rotors.

CLK BS
You can also try Giro Disc brakes, seems to work pretty well. Lighter, has front and rear 2 piece options.

I second this notion from GeoGeo. I have GiroDisc on my CLK and couldn't be happier with their performance.

Good luck!

Fcp Euro used to carry and I saved the link. It now they are gone I see . They have alll other rotors but the clk63 . Sls and everything . I surprised the clk63 bs doesn't have the exact same rotor as one of the others . Is that 219 number correct ?

Found the 219 's but none of the adds say driver or oassanger . The cooling veins and slotted holes would be going opposite on the other side

OEM brake discs are the same on each side.
With aftermarket you can have a left and a right disc

I do not know girodisc ones but racingbrake discs are L and R and are drilled ans slotted (holes are in the slots). I use them on trackday without any issue with track pads

If I am not mistaken the difference is the size :
- A219210212 for CLKBS and co : 360x36mm
- A2304211212 : 390x36mm

Standard C63 has 360*36 but C63 BS has 390*36.
CLK BS has 360*36 where non BS CLK 63 has 360*32 (same as SLK 55 BS and SLK 55 Perf pkge).
SLK 55 Standard MK1 has 340*32

Tex what pads are you using? And do you use a pad for street and track or do iu switch out . I've been using potorfields (spelling) but they came with it so not sure of material . But they have done very well and no fade at all . Thinking of going to hawk hp plus

I use track pads PAGID RSL1 and I am really happy with on track but they are noisy at low speed brake on street. It is acceptable because my CLK BS is not my daily

Hey Ced.,

I'm thinking about "EBC" Yellow stuff or Red stuff,

i heard stop power is really Fabulous & low dust, but very very NOISY..!,

is that right..?,,

what do you think..?!?!

When I was using my CLK 55 on track, I tried yellow stuff EBC. It was better than OEM (less fading brake more agressive), but not fabulous. The noise was small compared to PAGID.

I prefer PAGID, but brakes are totally different from 4 pistons caliper on my CLK 55 to CLK 63 (non BS) or CLK BS with 6 pistons caliper, so the comparison is not so fair.

For dust, as I need to clean them each time I use the car, it does not matter LOL

I see,

i put 8-pot calipers on my "W210" last year, and used "EBC" Red stuff, it's really great stopping, compared to OEM's,,

but not that sure how they will perform with "Slk55/Clk63" 6-pot calipers..!!

I put Ebc blues on my c63 once and stopping was awesome , track was good too , but the noise was so bad andninmean so bad that they came right off and I went back to the original brembo and the stopping is the same without noise
