I am torn between these two cars and I found them to be of comparable price. If you were in my situation, which one would you choose and why.

Form or function - you must choose which is more important.

The CLS shape is like a seductive siren that calls you, the E55 may perform in bed but you will be imagining it's another woman :-)

I was in the same dilemma 2 months agao and went for the CLS500. It is the right choice because when I see a E55 on thr road, I think the better looking CLS500 is defintely worth the sacrifice in performance.

However, you better make sure you get a good used CLS500 or else you will regret it and think you should have got an E55.

its a beast! AMG v-8 kompressor and the cls looks kinda heavy imo.
id definitely go for the e55 over the cls 500 - no doubts

I'm partial to the E55 ! The CLS has the flash, but the E55 will brighten your day every time hit the accelerator.

e55 for sure...i had a cls500 before and you have several things that you'll regret...at least i did...1) it's VERY long and hard to park sometimes, 2) you'll feel ripped off big time cuz there's a 550 engine which is 80 more hp than yours and 3) you'll regret not getting an amg when you had the chance!

Ha..The 55 any dayyy....even tho the cls is alot flashier..depens are u the sportier driver or cruiser...if sportier the e55...if cruiser then cls...
