Help with V1 install

I had the same problem and then we hooked it up via the brakes, my stereo guy did it so I don't know exactly how it was done but I know he used the wire behind the brake lever because we could not find any other fuse that shuts off with ignition, works great now

WOW SAVVY!
The Savvy must be a new item...new to me anyway...but a great idea and solution.
I have hardwired the V1 in my other cars, but the CLS is not that easy.
I ordered the Savvy today.

V1 & Savvy installed.....
The install went fine and the Savvy works as advertised (I may go back and retro-fit in my other cars).
A few notes on the design:
I think Valentine could have done a lot better on the physical design.
It should be shallow, as to avoid kicking it as most OBDII ports are in the footwell.
It should have the two RJ jacks in the unit, not on a 6" cord with a "dongle".
It's a bit awkward to get it all out of the way.
The benefits outweigh these minor issues,,,,,
