Resonators out - Xpipe in $120
Cut out two resonators between the front cats and large center resonator
Cut out the large center resonator
Replaced with Xpipe as far forward as it would go and then straight pipes out to the rear cars and mufflers.
Not a significant difference in sound but perfect for me. I can actually hear the car start with the doors closed and the growl/rumble is brilliant!

Oh....place here in Phoenix only charged $120 and that included the x pipe. Cash deal and I tipped the welder $20 so it was a grand total of $140. Best money I have ever spent.

Friends from work recommended a place that had done many custom exhausts for them. Pro Muffler just west of 101 and Bell.

Haha I called them last week and whoever answered the phone said they don't work on mb/bmw and turned me away.
Oh well, ended up finding another shop (excellent reviews) to take out my mufflers and put in some magnaflow's. I go in at 10 am today.

Had the mufflers cut off and we slipped on the smallest Magnaflow mufflers that they make (which are also suppose to be the loudest) and it wasn't enough for me. We slipped them off and I loved the sound without anything. It might be too loud for some but with the "menacing" look of my car it fits it so well. Even the owner of the shop thought it sounded better without anything and he would have made more money by selling me the mufflers. So I am very happy with my current setup which is an x-pipe in place of resonator and a muffler delete with straight pipes out to the stock tips(which I might swap out for black ones or quads soon).
I've never made a YouTube video but tomorrow I'll try to make one and post a link to it on here of the sound.

Here's a quick video from 10' away on a cold start. I'll get another video when my wife gets home of me driving it so you can hear what it actually sounds like on acceleration.
There is a little crackling noise when I first rev'd it but that is not there when accelerating.

probably better of doing xpipe in place of 2nd cats and resonator delete, im sure you will have more drone as soon you remove the mufflers, had muffler delete on my bmw 335xi and it droned badly. Just giving you gents a heads up before cutting of mufflers! It may be cheaper to cut of mufflers but if you got to change over everything after 2 weeks of drone its going to cost you just as much as xpipe and resonator delete.

There definitely is some drone but I guarantee that you will not get a deep noticeable sound like this with just x pipe and second cat delete.
I still say try it. It's cheap enough to where if the drone is too much you can spend a couple hundred bucks on some dynamat for the trunk (still be a lot less than a new cat back setup like 3k for meisterschaft) or put the mufflers back on and the whole "experiment" cost you 150 bucks.
Please read- the drone was SIGNIFICANTLY more with large stock resonator in place. When I swapped that out for the x-pipe, the drone was much more "pleasing" to the ear.

Did not touch #5. They are still there. Those are your cats.
I took out 9 and put an X pipe there
And
Took out 10 (mufflers) and replaced with straight pipes out to the stock mercedes tips.
Here's what I suggest doing.......
Replace 9 with an X pipe.
Cut off mufflers (10)
***Don't weld on straight pipes in place of 10 yet. Start the car and rev it up. If it's too loud weld mufflers back on and just stay with x pipe mod and consider removing secondary cats for a little more sound.
If you like the sound without mufflers, move forward and have the shop bend/cut/weld up some pipe to put in place of removed muffler (#10)***
