No I don't think it needs to be deleted--- the system censored it accordingly but I do think the members here would want to know what happened.

So I just cut and pasted the article:
********* e-mailed Renntech asking for the full timeslip so we could see the full breakdown of the run but for some reason Renntech has yet to respond. Additionally, the ADV.1 wheel company is taking a lot of credit for this as if they have something to do with it.
"Yes, the car was running ADV.1 wheels but those wheels are hardly a good performance choice. This car would be much quicker on drag radials instead and smaller rims than the style over substance ADV's. It also looks to be lowered way too much for good weight transfer. We also are surprised Renntech is promoting ADV.1 considering Renntech's stellar reputation.
As we do not have the full slip we can not state what the density altitude was on the run or provide any other details at time time. We estimate the temperature was in the mid 80's with a density altitude of 1700+ feet.
Congratulations to Renntech on being the first to break into the 10's with the AMG GT S! We expect on proper drag rubber and in cooler conditions for this car to go deeper into the 10's and much faster."

Renntech in the 10s
I wonder where RennTech or Weistec would fare if MKB started building cars for this same aim?
I always find it interesting how much attention a £100k+/- car gets for hitting "10's" when you get £10k JDM tuner cars doing it quite often. You'd expect a car of that value to run times like that from the factory these days. If I had £100k to spend on a car it would walk a sub 10 second ¼, although I do accept that "out of the box" sub 10 second cars still usually sit in a considerably higher price bracket than the AMG GT.

Maybe but you do know that C&D clearly adjusts their numbers for conditions. That's why their stats are almost always higher. I have tune (not Renntech) and the gains are posted. I did the dyno before and after last Friday and and the car's performance has changed.

1.74 60' is good for street tires......not sure how much is on the table with dR's?
I would like to see a data-log stock vs RT with boost, AFR, IAT's, injector load, timing, etc... RT seems to not push the ragged edge, and charge $$ for their 'sweet spot' of performance/reliability/cost/percieved value.

I bet that same car in the video would run mid to low 10s at Atco in good weather. PBIR is a mfkr.

So true, I was there a couple weeks ago and in this summer heat and humidity the air is so heavy you lose some mph no matter what you do. Worst possible conditions for fast runs.

PS I read your write up on Weistec tune on your GT-S I'm floored they got 134 more TQ & 113 more HP obviously you'll see an aditional 30+ TTQ/HP w/Dwn Pipes like the Renntech example above, & they did run in 80 deg heat not too bad, esp w/a 1.74 60' etc Hard to fathom they barely edged the C/D Bone Stock test by 3 tenths & 1 mph & the ADV1 wheels are super light soo just wth?? Hardly any progress there.. We've seen SGC/Renntech run crazy records in far worse heat @ PBIR so it's not the track esp w/1.74 60'
your quote from GT-S tune... Sounds like an awesome new whip enjoy bud!
I did a before and after dyno just because I wanted to see the "sweet spot" gains. Clearly this tune is a street tune with top rpm gains as well. The biggest gains in tq and hp (about 100 hp and 130 tq) are in the most usable areas of the rpm range and wow you can feel it. My short drive home yielded some open stretches and I found myself clearly going faster than I have in this car. Race mode is terribly exciting and S+ is so easy and useful. The tune changes the throttle response as well which I love. The GTS has minimal throttle lag anyways and anything perceptible is now gone. Whats also great about the tune is Steve was able to make some adjustements to create louder backfires and barks. I guess there is a metric in the ECU for this. He even told me he could set it up to shoot flames LOLOLOL but that would burn out my cats*

Therefore I am skipping the ECU only track testing and going straight to Weistec midpipes and downpipe install and testing. After I get those results I will be moving on with testing the new Weistec manifold and turbo upgrades. Wesitec has been working around the clock developing an entire product line for the M177/M178 motor. They have been doing lots of dyno testing and real world street testing on their Weistec owned development car and another customer owned car(maybe Vic?) in Orange County but the weather has not allowed me to uphold my end of the deal with track testing on my car. Hopefully I will be posting some great results in the very near future.

I have been waiting to get to the track for some ECU only testing but the weather has not allowed for it. Chicago has had it's wettest rainiest month of June in history.
