Wow. The cla is available with apple car play. Lol. Honestky, if you're playing with the media in a GT/GTS/GTR you're likely to end up in a ditch. The car requires your full attention.

ApplePlay in my E300 provides no advantage over the GTS as it doesn't recognize Tidal as a discrete App and therefore provides no benefit over simply connecting to USB and using the phonescreen to launch Tidal in the GTS. It does recognize Pandora but who the F uses Pandora anymore?

I agree no advantage for music. I also use tidal.
The advantage is Siri reading your text messages to you and dictating your verbal responses back without ever letting go of the wheel.

Yeah. Interfaces are just bad. Use your phone and tidal.
I’m sure everyone realizes this but make sure that in the TIDAL app that sgo into settings and set everything to hifi.

This is a list of cars that currently offer CarPlay (which I love in my wife's Chevy Bolt - but MB can't figure out how to put into my GTS):

Abarth and Citreon figured it out....but Mercedes? In some models they are rolling it out. It just takes forever in the car industry to make changes, albeit software ones.

Besides she put up with me racing in SCCA for 10 years yet only visited the track once - and wondered where the local shopping was! She had about as much interest in hanging around a race track as I do going to the mall and shopping for clothes. But unless you have gasoline in your blood ... hanging around a loud, hot, environment with a bunch of loud profane gear heads isn't fun - male or female.
