New GTS Owner - Thoughts on the CPO & Maintenance Warranty I got?

I'll concur on the maintenance; while at dealer prices that may work out, quite a bit of the car is low maintenance and the maintenance itself is very easy if you are so inclined.

Thank you!
Just purchased a '16 GTS today (pics to come tomorrow) I purchased a 6 yr unlimited mileage CPO warranty with it for $5200, and then pre-paid for 3 years of maintenance for $4,000. Just wondering how that compares to some of the other warranties you guys have gotten? This was purchased from a MB dealer in San Jose, Ca.
Thanks!
CPO WARRANTY
The 6 year CPO is really 3 years Original Factory Warranty transferred to you and 3 years CPO (extended coverage). Still a very good value. In addition to the obvious you get factory software updates and loaner cars. WHAT YOU DON’T GET - Is wearable replacements tires, brakes etc. Tires are about $2,500 out the door and complete brakes (steel) will be $5k Ceramic with rotors will be around $10k.
PREPAID SERVICE
The $4k you paid will cover scheduled service and loaner cars. Most services are oil and filter plus clean air and cabin filters 1 differential and 1 transmission service and a brake flush.
Labor on these items is the most expensive cost.
Remember to leave enough warranty to pass on to the next buyer.
Congratulations on your purchase.
I think the post below yours is correct. The labor involved these days definitely isn’t like crawling under a 57 Chevy and pulling the differential and tranny plugs, waiting for them to drain and putting the plugs back in and adding the fluid....30 minutes tops.

they offered to extend the CPO for 2 extra years for $6800 (discounted from $8000) and maintenance for $3100 (discounted from $4000)
I didnt take either one.
