2019 GT2RS, 2021 AMG GT Black Series, 2020 G63 and 2022 Bentley Flying Spur
Have had my magmabeam since sometime in August. It is as sharp as a scalpel. Paid $50k over and worth every penny when comparing to many other cars in this category. I can't believe how many people go nuts over the looks as well. I have 2019 GT2RS and the BS for my track/sports cars. I plan to buy a Mclaren 765LT spider and I am done. Well maybe a final version of the SVJ and then I am done.
I have a 2022 Flying Spur when I feel like being grown up and my 2020 G63 when I have to haul sh*t around. But I could drive the BS all day as it is that comfortable. Currently have around 700 miles on the ODO and I really don't give a ****.
I was offered (and of course turned down) $100K over my final sales price but enjoying the car was more important than a quick profit.
Burt thanks so much for all of the great information. How does 371 compare to the production numbers of other BS models? Just wondering where someone thinks this model eventually gets to in the years to come.

Nearly a month since the last update... are we still waiting on wings? Has anything left the port since the last update?

I too am “At The Port Waiting Ship Assignment”. Mine will be going to Baltimore and then Brunswick, GA…..eventually.
We may see movement this week or….??
This is just my assessment, I think our cars are complete or they wouldn’t be awaiting a ship. Soulsea’s sat at the Brunswick VPC for 2-3 weeks for a spoiler bracket after sitting at the port for months. But we are at the end of production so any missing parts like spoiler brackets would more than likely be obtained for all of the remaining 10-15 cars. Just a guess.
Regards
Jerry

I'm in Delaware. Hopefully we see some movement this week but truth be told I think we are just going to have to wait it out and hopefully see our cars before year end.

Think we all see the Schmee. I’m a little over the snap crackle pop, though the system is tunable. Going to see how the exhaust sounds under acceleration before making any mods.

Agreed. But the OPUS information and Shmees test ride sure showed what the BS potential is.
There are BS owners here who, like you have considerable driving skills and have experienced the GT2 and GT3 RS in competition driving. They seem to be saying here that the BS is definitely faster and better handling. Of course how would I know I don’t even have visitation rights to mine….yet. One of the estimated last 10 to be made awaiting a boat ride from the port in germany.
We’ve been here before with the GTR drama haven’t we?
Best regards

Pleased to say that I'm excited for this car again and looking forward to having mine delivered so I can casually set a few track records while listening to the radio and drinking a coffee

FYI: I checked in with my dealer yesterday and unfortunately I am still “waiting at the port for a ship.”
Maybe something will happen over the weekend.

I recommend you check in with your dealer tomorrow and see what your status is and do it again mid week.
You are on the west coast and should get yours through the port in LA I think.
The guys up thread will be recipients at the Baltimore and Brunswick ports.

Hopefully if there are other BS owners who are still waiting they will weigh in and let us know what their current status is.
My guess is that they will want the BS inventory gone by the end of this month so they can start the 2022 SL production.

I am trying to get the OPUS downpipes, I have attempted to give him my money and still waiting. I'm not sure if the US pipes are ready to go or what, he hasn't responded to my last email yet.

Missed the boat of being able to order one to spec. Called around and most of the local dealers have anywhere between 1 to 3 cars that are available and set to arrive end of month (Los Angeles). One asked $200k ADM but hard to justify it when it's not my desired specs lol. Saw one of the cars coming in (and already called for of course) was optioned with DV1 - AMG ONE Edition "W10" Inspired Cirrus.

Also, make sure they know you can close rhe deal when the time comes. All they can do is say NO and come up with a counter offer
In my opinion the BS are going to continue to increase in price once production is completed very shortly and all of the US inventory finally gets here.
The rumour about the spoiler and spoiler brackets seems to keep cropping up from different sources. So it just may be the root cause for the delays.
We are all hoping for some good news by Turkey Day.
As far as the Edition 1 BS goes, my understanding is that they are tied to future owners of the Edition1 so the dealer can’t sell it by itself.
Best regards
Jerry

HEADS UP UPDATED:
Vinyl6, litumup411, ccomo;
I pestered my dealer and found out that my BS status has finally changed:
FROM:
9/21 Produced Not Shipped B50
9/23 At Port No Ship Assignment B70
TO:
11/9 At Port Ship Assigned B80
UPDATE 11/13
11/13 SAT No change. No Ship Name Identified Yet. However it is entirely likely that the ship has been identified, the car loaded and under way.
The lag seems to be in updating the official status online and not the actual process.
I hope to find out the name of the ship 11/17 Wednesday so I can track it the rest of the way to Brunswick, GA.
Time is tight but we just may have our BS in our garages by Thanksgiving.
Regards
