Truck sold in 24hrs at full ask (which was $8k over sticker for the mods) ... could have gotten more if I were greedy.
Must have fielded a hundred inquiries in that time period.
It's a feeding frenzy out there.

You are right and there’s a very large buyers market out there waiting to get one at the best price possible.
Who knows what the market premium will be in a few months or a year.
Glad you sold one of your toys so you have room for your BLACK in your garage.

First, I am talking about the people that pay 200-600K over MSRP. Second, you didn't give a time- frame on said flip. Honestly if I found someone dumb enough to give me 4 to 500,000. on a BS that I BOUGHT at MSRP I would be knocking on his door with car in hand.... The caveat to this is that I am NOT in the millionaires boys club so that amount of profit would not mean as much to someone in that category.

Well it looks like the $949,996k Black at McLaren Charlotte is now gone. So the bar has been raised…
Lets see how long the other premium models last and if they raise their market adjustment prices.

Who can honestly be surprised at any transaction in the car market at this point? The entire car market is nuts. Cars that are in no way limited have risen by tens of thousands of dollars in the last 6-12 months. Some cars that are in fact difficult to get have gone up hundreds of thousands. It is what it is, and it will not last forever. I could easily see people paying $500-600k for a BS for the time being, as things in the high end sports car market have escalated so rapidly that virtually everything that has more than a single option box ticked somehow now starts with a "4."

I told him a couple months ago that I wanted the G63 again but expected that I would have to wait until well into next year to get one as the entire production is sold out now (no wonder with $80k+ premium).
MSRP that I will pay is about $175k so basically he made an $80k "gift" to me.
I'm still scratching my head how he was able to pull it off ( he has about 45 firm orders with $5k deposits.

I gave them a call yesterday just to see what is sold for and how quick is sold. When I asked if it sold for the 949,996, the sales guy laughed and said no. They just listed it that high just to get offers. It did sell in an hour of being listed but somewhere in the 500-600k range. He wouldn't give a solid number but said it was in that range. He also said they just purchased another BS in mango gray that should be listed sometime next week.

That's the number I got after deciding on all the options and with the destination charge.
If you suspect he would charge me a premium, you would be wrong.
Bought 25 mostly top of the line cars from them over the past 21 years and never had any misunderstanding with either the dealer principal or the GM.

One complaint so far, it rained here a few days ago, I went literally around the block and all the inlets are full of rocks. The tires are like tape, I'm guessing it takes a 100 hp just to roll those things haha.
