Does anyone know why so many black series cars are stuck at the port in the Us now? Mine is stuck in Maryland for a long time now just showing delayed.

Look at my post up thread (#273). It my give you some comfort in knowing that more BS series are on their way to the US.
It could mean that the missing parts you are waiting for are on their way too.
I hope your issues are resolved soon…hopefully by the end of the month.
I am trying to get the OPUS downpipes, I have attempted to give him my money and still waiting. I'm not sure if the US pipes are ready to go or what, he hasn't responded to my last email yet.
I had a similar experience. It's too late in the year for me to mess with it now, so hopefully by the spring things will be ready. Car isn't much use with snow on the ground!
I have a 2011 SLS AMG with a special PA1 customized interior option of X16 Designo Mauritius Blue - Exterior is 775 Iridium Silver
Is it possible to ascertain how many SLS's were manufactured with this combination ?

Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz refuses to share that information. I've tried multiple avenues to source production numbers and to no avail. It was luck and genius on my part to have gotten the USA production numbers of the GT BS.

Thanks for that very clear response, with Mercedes relatively open data policy one wonders why they are unwilling to oblige that info.
I updated information on page one. If you guys want any other information posted I have quite a bit, just don't know what you guys want to know. I actually think I might have the actual order each one was built in. I have all options/features, MSRP's, VIN's.

Thanks for taking the time to update the information. Would you happen to know how many cars were delivered into Canada?

Burt:
This is the additional information I would like to see;
Total BS Made
US 371
Canada 40
Australia
Japan
Europe
Other
Grand Total Produced
Also, for my BS I would like to confirm if it was the last 8 or 10 made.
I hope you are continuing to enjoy your BS. For me I’m just getting started.
I had mine out today. I just had to “exercise it” now that all of the wrap and windshield protection has finally been installed.
I need to thank you again for offering up your car for the XPEL templates.
They all seem to be spot on and lay up tight around the badges.
Enjoy your ride tomorrow.
Spun out in the middle of a big intersection at the end of the drive on way home. I turned traction control off half way and was turning left at the light, blipped the throttle with cold tires and instantly lost traction front and back, did a nice 300 degree spin.

LOL amateur, points lost for not completing the 360...

I have read the owners manual a couple of times regarding the traction control on the Black. It’s confusing at best.
My understanding is that traction control is on automatically in “C” mode. In S, S+ and Race modes I am at a loss too.
Until I better understand how the Black traction system works, I think I would rather have the GTR version.

I probably would have spun out with traction on, it was 45* outside and the road was even colder. Literally it was like being on ice, luckily all the curbs were far away. The C2R tires are not meant for this type of weather.
