Is your dealer asking over MSRP for these inbound Blacks? Since they have serial numbers already they may have been off loaded at the Brunswick VPC over the weekend.
I think the allocations are for AUTO NATION as the corporate owner of several dealerships. I would think the first dealer in their network with a qualified buyer willing to pay their premium price will get the prize. Don’t know for sure but supposidly there were no “order for inventory” orders allowed. The buyer had to be specific and qualified to get a legit car.
Now we all know there are ways around those rules but that’s what the process was supposed to be so that there was no dealer scalping done.
In any event hopefully you get yours at a price you are willing to pay.

Hey, they're not for sale, I was there speaking with my guy yesterday. Obviously you can look in the system and see what salesman was involved with the car and talk to them and I was told thats what he would do for me. Im fine paying over within reason. I don't think this is a $500k+ car like the SLS black series simply bc they made way less of those. They wouldn't sell any ordered cars OVER, only cars in inventory. They don't wanna **** off customers, but some cars like they have 1 G manufaktur right now, whatever special edition it is, they're asking $100k over for the red g63. We've all owned plenty of mercedes, very few in history have risen in price. SLS black series, C63 black series,G63, thats about it off the top of my head. Hell even my SLR I bought with 2200 miles and it was $531k in 2009 and i paid $350k in 2021. Paying over sticker for a mercedes is a losing proposition in most instances even these black series, very cool cars, very exclusive but the GTR pro is 95% of this car for 1/2 the price. With that said, I love it and hopefully can work something out for a decent price. There was 1 allocation on ebay a few months ago for $40k over, but it was gone within a day. So i dont think you will see these with astronomical asks.

I stand corrected. They did get 3 allocations and all of them are sold. The guestimated ship dates at this point are 1h july once they clear out the S Classes that have been sitting since January. Allocations 2 and 3 were priced/agreed upon the build order date and they were not cheap. Another dealer I know traded their 1 GTBS allocation for 5 G63 allocations.

How much over sticker would be advisable to pay for one of these, my dealer has 3 coming in and thinks he can get me one. I see production is 3x that of the SLS black series from whats posted above. Out of curiousity for future reference, how does one go about getting something like this. I have alot of cars from the same dealer, this year alone i bought a 2009 slr roadster and a '21 E63S wagon. Im always on top of this stuff but they only had 3 allocations of these and the people who got them ordered them like multiple years ago. I truly hadn't even heard of the GT black series till maybe last october and I immediately asked and there were no allocations. Just curious and genuinely interested bc Im a great customer of my dealers but I want to be able to get the exclusive stuff like this down the road. My salesman is an old man he doesn't really seem to have much insight to offer.
The first orange GT BS on their website is from another dealer MA041811. Maybe they're sharing inventory? It's Houston North not Greenway

However I would suggest that if they are using the dealer site as you suggest, they do have a “Sold” status/designation available for their use.
I am NOT a attorney but this practice smacks of the age old “bait and switch” don’t you think.
Look at us like sharks in the water looking for inbound/available BS units.
We call or go into the dealership to get one before they are gone only to be told “Oh that one is sold but we can get you one”
Not a very professional business practice.

They actually do, and will pull an order or punish the dealer by not giving future allocation of specialty vehicles. I am not privy to discuss, but there was an order for a GT BS that was pulled from a dealer because the client was no longer taking the car. The dealer had to sign documents stating the vehicle will only be sold to so and so and to be returned to MBUSA if client does not take delivery.

Cause I had been informed paint to sample was only available to them.

It is an available unit in our inventory.
You do not have to be a P1 client to process a designo Manufaktur Custom Order.
Also, it was listed in Burt's orginal post....
