Why would anyone here expect to find a limited production, very special car (Black Series) and pay only the MSRP in todays market where an unlimited production, mass produced G-Wagen routinely sells with $50-$80k premium?
There are no allocations, no cars to speak of, dealers have practically no inventories when compared to "normal " years, they have bills to pay and no incoming product to sell, hence the premiums.
When was the last time you saw an Escalade selling with premium?

Apropos to the topic of ADM, there’s a BS currently being offered at a local dealership for what looks like a hair under $700k if photos of the window sticker on IG are to be believed.. so approx. $360k “adjusted market value” on top of MSRP.

Just left the local Cali dealer here as they rebuild the Getrag in my GTS and they claimed to have fetched $200k over for the Magna Orange one that arrived last week. Who knows.................. The BS awaits papering it up but need to get the GTS up and running to evaluate a trade. About ready to just keep em all for the time being due to lack of inventories (and the S Class deliveries are a complete hot mess for the dealers....WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY behind).

Back at ya with the beer....MBUSA reps showed up very recently at a dealer to point out that they are acutely aware of the effect of the parts shortage has had on price. These are not ignorant people and the point is that they do have the option to slack-deliver future production of unordered units out of the VPC. That, combined with a bump on the MSRP's on certain models could make for an interesting year coming up.

AMG GT Black Series
I've actually never owned a Harley, always loved the Road King Classics. I sold a couple bikes, but still have KTM Superduke 1290R and Honda CBR1000RR at the moment, I've been looking for an adventure bike, the Harley PanAmerica started that whole quest down the rabbit hole.

I’m afraid to go to the dealer. I might get weak like Soulsea and join the car/motorcycle of the month club.

I think the actual market today, with money put on the table for real, is somewhere between $100k-$150k premium on these cars.

Truck sold in 24hrs at full ask (which was $8k over sticker for the mods) ... could have gotten more if I were greedy.
