Canadian 2018 GTC Coupe - AMG Dynamic Plus Package P71

Canadian model here in Vancouver BC 🇨🇦... does the 2018 GTC Coupe come standard with the AMG Dynamic Plus Package as per the US DLO and Brochure?? I cannot find a copy of the Canadian DLO or Brochure .... my recently acquired 2018 GTC Coupe does not have the yellow gauges or full dinamica steering wheel; my unit was spec’d with the individual option of the Nappa/Dinamica wheel. I was under the impression the Dynamic Plus Pkg and it’s contents ie: engine and trans mounts etc was standard on the 2018 GTC Coupe. It does not bother me all that much if I do not have it as I will not be tracking the car, although it’s a box I would of most certainly ticked if I was factory ordering. I also find it wild that not only does the GTC not come with the engine / trans mounts, but as well as the thigh extenders, birds eye camera or a HUD.... all items standard on my 2017 c63s coupe

The option is called track pack. It's one option that really differentiates in the resale market. GTS cars did not have this option until MY21(I think?) and was exclusive for gtc and gtr. Yes the indicator is yellow speed gauge, car without it have red. Not sure about 2020 cars since they have digital gauge. Here's the summary

The available AMG Track Package hones the GT C to an even sharper edge. Using electromagnetic fluid, dynamic engine and transaxle mounts progressively stiffen to keep handling precise. Power peaks over a wider rev-range in the Manual and Race modes. And the chassis is tuned to a more aggressive profile

The Track package is not the same thing as the DPP, at least in the US, which is what the OP is referring to, and you couldn't get any of the models with the actual track package (roll bar, harness, etc) in the US, nor Canada as far as I know.

You could order the DPP on the GTS from launch, item code P71 AMD Dynamic Plus Package

US and Canada had different options. Track pack is available in Canada and the description was direct from mb Canada website

Regardless of the naming (it does seem like they called the DPP package the track package in Canada), you're wrong. Here is a 2016 GTS with DPP/Track Pack, in Canada.

My 2017 Canadian market AMG GT S had the Canadian track package, equivalent to US Dynamic Plus Package. It had the dynamic mounts, stiffer suspension, yellow gauge ring etc.

how would a 2016 be a reference to a 2018. The GTC wasnt out, and there was a complete facelift. Do you have a 2018 point of reference?

So track pack in Canada = dynamic engine mounts, yellow gauge, etc.. and this equals DPP in the US. Option was available on both GTS and GTC.

If you're going to attempt to refute my point, at least spend the time to read first so you even know what my point was.

And to answer your question, with the 15 second answer you could have found yourself.

Correct, and to confuse matters further, I believe that on the GT R, outside of NA, the Track Pack is also the name of the roll bar, harness, etc pack.

looking at gtc's on autotrader there really aren't any with yellow dials.....guess it wasn't an option on many canadian cars. Is it a big deal? Is it a noticeable driving difference?

I don't think there's a noticeable difference between the two for daily driving, but I back to back on track with my friend's 2020 without and my 2018 with - all else stock, I would say there is an appreciable difference. I mostly looked for a DPP car for the resale bit down the road.

(both canadian cars)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think whatever DPP is for GTS is standard on GTC. That is why such option doesn't exist for GTC.
