Top Center Line on Steering Wheel, Colored 3M tape
Somebody used some 3M colored tape to wrap the top center line on the steering wheel. It looked awesome and added some contrast… The way the wheel should’ve came from factory instead they used black pleather….
if you have any left laying around, I’ll spot you some cash for a bit of it to do this. I don’t feel like buying 10 yards of this tape…
If not, maybe you can let me know where you got the 3M tape and how well it held up. Thanks!

How do you hide the end cut line? I was wondering if it could be dyed.?
I think just end the cut on the back side facing the gauges
Then you would see it from outside the car,lol J/K I would cut it so it ended under/ bottom. Does anyone know if it can be dyed ? I have yellow stitch but white would be ok too.
When I had my C8 Corvette, I did the center stripe of the steering wheel in blue to match the color of the car. It was very easy to do, no seams, and the leather paint was the perfect answer I was looking for and a very inexpensive option. I bought the paint on Amazon. Here's a link to the Angelus page, you can purchase individual colors for about $10.
I used Teflon tape on each side to keep the margins tight. Also, I started with white and then blue over it. I tested if first on one of my Wife's old leather shoes. Okay....they were mine
