What are GTRs going to drop to?
Anyone think we’ll be able to get the FL GTRs for sub $150k soon?
Personally, I view the GT-R’s better and more practical than a GT3, which are higher priced and can be used as a comp too. Even thought there are more Porsches and market for them.
Strongly suspect that the market if going to get much softer in mid-‘23.
Really glad I avoided getting a Roadster GTR too - wanted one REALLY bad and was turned down a couple of times with buyers asking too much. They would jump today for what I was offering too...those things have lost $30K in the last 2 months. I "settled" for my Pro and you would have to pry it from my hands or at least offer me a very good McLaren 720 to distract me.
I think the good news for all of us is that these cars aren't suffering from speculation buyers except in the BS category...

I believe they are still in the 155-165k mark if low miles

- pre facelift - say what you will about this, its a factor
- miles - this has almost as big of a hit at 10K miles as falling out of warranty
- warranty - this one hurts
FWIW - take a car at 160K today purchased and compare to an identical car purchased for $175K just over a year ago and the interest rate hike has you paying close to the same if you carry the loan to term. Leases are worse (on used products). The cars are close to the same overall price and the delta has been shifted to the banks scraping off the top for the cost of money. The deflating housing market is the same.
