Car Cover vs. Garage recommendation?

2004 CLK 500
Car Cover vs. Garage recommendation?
I will be owning a 2004 CLK 500 convertible in a few weeks. It has been garage kept (with dust cover) its entire life in Arizona. It only has 44K on it. I now live in Pennsylvania.

where I live now, I don't have a garage. I'm not looking forward to spending a hundred bucks a month in renting a garage. Any thoughts if I keep a car cover over it or do you think it'll be worth it keeping it in the garage.

Also, if I go the car cover route, I don't mind spending a few extra bucks, if anyone could make a shameless plug for a great car cover? thxs

tough call..... if it's showroom shape... 100mo/1200 a yr is cheap t0 keep it that way.... car cover in the wind over time is gonna scratch it up... extreme hot/cold cycles wont do it any favors either... at least in the garage the temps don't change so fast... so less likely to get condensation all over it...

Ok thanks...I been leaning the same way. in the end, the $1200 a year will be worth it.

Definitely garage it. Especially with the weather conditions in PA. You will be very unhappy with the effect of the weather, both summer and winter, on both the exterior and the interior. Good luck!
