Question 1978 240d conrod oil problem

I am rebuilding my 123 diesel engine out of a 1978 mercedes 240d. In the book it shows oil jets for the cylinders, yet I have none in the engine. I figured that maybe the conrod had an oil passage, but found none there either. This engine has been rebuilt before and it appears that the conrods might have been replaced (numbers on the conrods don't match up with the corresponding cylinders). Does Mercedes have conrods with oil passages for this model or is there some other way that the oil gets to the piston pin and liner?
Any help with this would greatly be appreciated.

I will see what I can find. I dod't think that the OM616.912 or OM616.916 either had squirters. As for oil passages, I will have to consult my manuals.

I think only the OM617A engines had oil jets.

Yes, this one doesn't have oil jets. But do I possibly have the wrong conrods in this? I don't see a way for the oil to get to the piston and liner and I don't want to put this thing back together wrong.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

If it has the MB star cast into it, it's the right part.

Yes there is a star but I don't see a way for the oil cooled piston to get oil to it. Is there some other way that I'm unaware of that the piston gets its oil?
Thanks,

Thanks for your help, just wasn't sure about last rebuild and didn't want to duplicate a possible mistake.
Thanks again,
