received the lenses today, first thing I noted that there was no silverguard bulbs but just plain yellow ones which look like crap in the white housing.

when installing them I had to file the forward part which was too small in order to fit them but otherwise they look great on a white car.

I emailed the seller to see what he is going to do however I will have to take the fender apart again to put in the silverguard bulbs.

I will update this site for other people who might want to consider this modification.

Hey I also bought these clear reflectors yesterday but have not received my order. I wonder if the vendor made a mistake in your assembly?

that is what I am thinking he states there was a separate box included, however I break all my boxes down for recycling and in my case there was no separate box.

pretty easy to install once you get the opening about 1/32" larger in order to slide the unit in and clip it together

I installed them by turning the wheels sideways and removed the 3 clips which secure the inner housing to the body.

Clear Corners

I don't have clear corners on my E350 Coupe but, I do have them on my Black Infiniti G35 Coupe. After I installed them I first tried the original amber bulbs but didn't like the look. Next I got LED bulbs, they are very bright and give off a bright bluish light. To me that didn't look quite right with my projectors and fogs. So, today I ordered the chrome bulbs that I think will be similar to the ones YYZ-E55 is offering with his clearcorners. These sound like and I hope will be the perfect bulb.

C207 side marker install

I had the same problem when attempting to install the clear side markers.
The bumper cut out was just a tad too small to fit the clear markers.

what do you recomment to cut the hole larger?

Coonsa, that looks awesome, particularly on the black. Where did you find the clear replacement lenses? Very much want to change out the amber side marker lenses.

The above link is where I ordered the clear side markers from. The company behind the ad did a great job. They processed and shipped my order promptly. Furthermore, I contacted the seller with a few questions that I had, he was quick to respond and rather helpful.

Thanks Coonsa. Any problems installing the replacement lense? Plug and play or more complex than that?

The driver side marker needed a little grinding to fit properly but other than that they were plug and play.

is it possible to disengage the light. and have it color matched painted?

so that the light doesn't shine through.

i know euro spec cars don't even have them, but i think color match would look really clean.

Anyone bought his clear side markers from an ebay seller "fishcake" before?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2010-MERCEDES...item2318ba5ff5

How is the fitment of the lens? Do I need any modifications in order to make them fit?

Or can you guys tell me who got the perfect lens (plug-and-play) without any grinding / cutting / sanding the front bumper in order to make those markers fit in?

Thanks.

Perfect fit, great quality from that vendor. I had his product on both E-Coupe and E-Sedan.

When did you buy it? Are you 100% sure no grinding / trimming of the bumper / lens in order to make them fit?

I am about to buy.

Do you have the installation of the side markers of the coupe?

BTW, where are you located in Toronto?

White is nice at least you can choose using amber bulbs or white color bulbs.

Are you planning to buy a pair from him? We should do a groupbuy together and see whether he can lower the price.

Markham - where you can find all brand of new cars without going to the Autoshow.

I am about to order but I email the seller regarding the method of courier.

Canadian dollar is par with US $ now. I think it is time to order ASAP.

If you want to discuss further, you can PM me.

Just installed those clear side marker lens from the eBay seller Fishcake.

It took me almost an hour to install because I did the job extremely slow and careful.

Perfect fitment without any trimming. Very easy to install. I am thinking whether I should buy a pair of those "amber" canbus led bulbs.
