Do you have a Renntech tune? Also where can I get those V8 biturbo badges?

Yes to the tune. Had the dealer send the ECU in to Renntech couple of weeks ago. A painless and quick process.
The fender badges are from a CLS and are available from your corner Mercedes parts supplier.

Interesting, what are the warranty implications with the tune given that the dealer sent your ECU down? Noticeable change in performance?

Spent a great deal of time talking with the dealer and supplier about the potiental of waranty issues and in the end was quite comfortable that the tune would have no effect on waranty. It cost me 1 hr. labor to have the dealer do the logistics and install. But this kept me out of the loop should anything unforseen happen. So far it's been a good experience.

Noticable change? Yes, although hard to quantify as I only have less than 100 mi., so I really haven't pushed very hard as of yet.

I have window ceramic tint and a set of lower springs on the docket. I'm going to hold off on the springs to see where the suspension actually settles out at. As to the tint job, it has to warm a bit before it can be reasonablly done. So there you have the long and short of it.

Looks sexy congrats Ray! Al and Nab I ended up ordering another BMW instead of the Benz coupe :/ I couldn't get the pricing to what I wanted and the new BMW (in my opinion) had much better design/technology/performance/fuel economy. I'm hoping to order an E-Cab now to add to the fleet; thanks for all of your help over the past few months!

I guess the E-Cab would be a 2013, if you get it? Interested in getting feedback on the latest model, although I plan on keeping mine at least for the duration of the warranty.

Interested in getting one for my wife. But I want to know how quiet the thing is. I haven't driven one yet. But wondering if the thing is as quiet as a sedan. I have a Boxster now and would use this as a sedan (winter driver) and summer driver...thanks

I've never been in an E sedan, but our '12 E coupe is very quiet. There is a subdued throaty sound from the engine during hard acceleration and it sounds sweet: wish it was a little louder .
