Oil level check
I have a 2013 E350 Cab. There's no dipstick.
My manual shows a dipstick. How do you check the level?
Thanks

There is definitely a dipstick. It might be in another location than showed in the manual.
Look for the red thing. Mine (E 5550) is near the back of the engine.

Found it! Thanks. Stupid manual has it on the left and the handle of the stick in color as well. I'm looking for this bright colored handle on the left side of the engine when it's a grey colored handle that blends in with everything else on the right side of the engine.

On another topic- does your backup camera have parking guidelines on the screen?
There's been discussions here about them being on some e coupe cars and others don't have it....mine doesn't have them and its annoying trying to figure out what the car suppose to have, dealer has been no help.

Yeah, it's quite annoying when the manual is not correct even on simplest things as this.

My passenger mirror Does tilt when on reverse. Just make sure you have the side mirror adjustment button set to passenger side- it will not tilt down if the setting is put onto the drivers side and in the middle position on other german cars FYI .
Let me know if it works out for you..

Thank you on the parking guidelines, feel better now I'm not the only one with a 2013 and his topic.

Command digital manual and could not find the info. Then I realized there were 2 digital manuals. I hate having to read it on the computer. I want them printed in front of me.

They sure make it complicated. Just have it tilting from the factory.

Having searched back in the C-Class forum, I recall now that the oil check was accessed through the Dyno Mode, which so far, I believe is not available on (at least) the C207...
Has anyone been able to get a digital oil level read out?
