I have an Android phone, and my 2012 E350 seems to pull it all in the address book, etc. But if I select an address from them, it responds that address information is not complete.

Is anyone out there having success navigating to addresses pulled in from an Android phone?

I have. The key is to make sure the data is formatted properly. I updated all my addresses in Gmail contacts, ensuring all the fields are correctly filled using the "details" option next to the address field.

Hope this helps.

Interesting. There must be something wrong in my car nav, because I've done that. To test futher I did this:

I entered a 'Test Contact', in Gmail Contacts, putting complete address in the address field.

I entered a 'Test Person' in Gmail Contacts, and clicked the ... in the Address Field, and entered each field.

They both display complete address in the address field in Contacts in Gmail, but if I expand the ... on each, the only one that displays in each individual field is the one that I entered that way.

In the Mercedes, the only one that shows each field in the appropriate place is the one that I entered complete data in the address field. The one that I entered each field individually only shows data in the address line in the Mercedes display of the contact address.

In both cases, I get an error from the Mercedes that the address is incomplete.

Hmmm.... I'll go back and play with mine again. I only did it once a few weeks ago when I randomly found the addresses (never actually looked for them), and purely just to test.

My car is in the shop getting serviced but I'll update you when I get it back.

Just out of curiosity, what COMAND software version are you running?

I just realized I didn't answer your question about what command software I am running. I'm not sure how to tell, but I'll explore and see if I can figure it out.

[EDIT]
I found how to go into the Engineering Menu. Didn't see anything saying 'Command Software Version', but I did find under a menu of MOST Information, an INIC FW Ver of 01.10.07, with INIC HW Ver. of 0s81050E. Does that answer your question?

Have you had oppty to test your system again?

I guess I'll try to get with the service dept and see if they have any ideas. Definitely not working for me.
