Just got 2014 E350 Coupe - couple ?s
1) how do you find parts for this thing? all my online parts places seem to show the sedan or non-facelift versions when i put in 2014 E350 Gas (doesnt even ask coupe or sedan)
2) how do you remove the ashtray? lid is slightly cracked and would like to replace. i see there is one torx screw under the metal ashtray but not sure if that is all that is needed...
3) pushed in the cigar lighter as a test and now it wont come out. doesn't get hot. replaced fuse 71 in trunk with 15a and it blew right away. the illumination ring around it works fine. ideas? still under warranty but would like to avoid the dealer
thanks

Not sure about the ash tray or V12 socket but as far as finding parts, search using "C207" or "A207" which is for the body of the E-Class coupe and convertible between '09-'16. Searching "W207" (although wrong) will yield good results too. That will eliminate any parts specific to the sedan which is the W212. There isn't a distinction between the facelift models so that you will need to distinguish yourself.

I stumbled upon this site and bookmarked it not too long ago. They seem to have a vast selection of OEM parts available for purchase.

Of course, you can always order through your Mercedes-Benz dealership parts department too.

If the car is still under warranty, why not bring it in to fix the electrical problem with the lighter? The rest of the cosmetic stuff you can do yourself. When you search for parts, you need to search for C207 parts, not the W parts.

yeah going to bring it in for the lighter. but i like to troubleshoot.
found out that when disconnected, the fuse 71 does not blow, but as soon as i plug the ashtray assembly back in, it blows immediately on ignition position 1.
was about to pop out the lighter from underneath when the ashtray was out of the car
thanks for the parts link. trying to avoid my dealer cause they are $$$$$$$$

Does anyone still smoke in their cars? Or at all? I have no idea if the cigarette lighter in my car works, nor do I care.

Nice, just got mine in last November and what parts are you looking for? To remove the ashtray you have to remove the cup holder first. There one torx in the ash tray and two in the cup holder. First push the cup holder in towards the dash then do the say for the ashtray and pull up.
