2011-2013 E350 Cabriolet purchase help
Hello everyone,
I am getting back to MB ownership. I am interested in a 2011-13 E350 Cabriolet.
What are the differences in the years?
What are the problem areas with the 2011 vs the 2012 direct injection engine?
Where can I find the options that were available, i.e. Package 1, 2, Luxury package etc.
I appreciate your help and expertise.

Try this
I have a 2012 Cab purchased in 2015 following a lease return. U.S. News and World Report car reliability ranking gives the 2012 model the highest (5 stars) ranking of the 3 years you are researching. To find what was available for those years check www.auto-brochures.com. Select Mercedes and then look for the right E class and years..
I have driven 8,000 trouble feee miles with mine since 2015. Oil change, brake fluid change and a new battery are all the car has needed. The dealer wanted $600 for a new battery so I would check on the age of the battery in the car you select. My car has the sport suspension so I run the tires about 2 psi under the recommended pressures and the ride is firm but acceptable. With higher pressures the ride is pretty harsh. The tires are original.
Good luck with your search. You are looking for good years and model of the brand.

I have a 2012 E350 Coupe and Cabriolet. I bought the Coupe in 2019 and have had zero issues with it. Just picked up the Cabrio last month with just 40,000 miles on it. I will tell you that the Cabrio supply is constrained on both Carvana and cargurus.com - especially low mileage, 1-2 owners, clean CarFax and unique exterior and interior color combos.. I tried to buy two cars only to find out they were already sold. You will find that most have the P1/Nav package, the AMG appearance and the wood trim package. Keyless-Go and ventilated seats are also a nice options as well.
Good Luck

FYI - I still have my search active on cargurus.com and this popped up today -
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=301839511
FWIW - Very rare color and extremely low mileage if everything else checks out...
Good luck

I will do some of the maintenance. I have done a lot of auto repair over the years. It depends on what it is and how I'm feeling.
I would like to find something with 60K or less miles.
