convertible top hydraulic cylinders 2012 E350 A207
Hi
i have a very little amount of hydraulic fluid that leaked into the bottom of the spare tire compartment. Mostly on the passenger side.
With the top partially open, the four cylinders along the sides are dry and the visible lines are dry as well. Are there cylinders in the top itself?
@konigstiger can you pull the schematics for the fluid lines, cylinders, strings and the routing diagrams, please?
VIN # WDDKK5KF1CF170957
If anyupne has had this issue, please chime in and details what the diagnosis was, and what the repair involved.
Much appreciated !!!!

used my hi res inspection camera and found the passenger side lift cylinder leaking around the piston. :-( fluid is going straight down to the spare tire well.
Looks like I will be pulling all the cylinders and sending to TopHydraulics for full rebuilds to ensure no leaks.
Hopefully I can do that otherwise i'll have to get a local top shop in Atlanta to pull them and do the re-install.
None of the hoses are leaking at all, not even the ones along the top going to the lock cylinder. Those hoses are expensive so maybe just order a few of the splice kits just in case
Thoughts?

We bought it with a 3 year warranty back in Jan 2018. Its just a fact of life for convertibles that they may need maintenance or the fabric/top replacing. Rest of the car has been trouble free and it drives fantastically well. All rest of maintenance up to date and i have Blackstone run used oil reports on it at every oil change.

I have a 2011 A207 and my roof is still functioning as the day I bought it new in 2011. I keep my car roof always closed when its parked even if in the garage. I hear the leaks come from crimps in the lines etc. I will say the first leak I ever get it I may not opt to keep the car as it is quite expensive to replace those cylinders and lines.
