Custom Ordering E450 Cabriolet Questions
I’m looking to get a 21 E450 Cabriolet but not finding what I want in dealer inventory. I don’t really don’t want to miss out on option I want or take extras I’m not interested in as well as setting for a color. I have other vehicles, so I’m not in a rush. Will dealers still negotiate or honor Costco or other pricing on a custom ordered build? What type of deposit is required? Once you order, what timing are people seeing, I’m in California. Any tips, tricks and advice is appreciated. Thanks!

E ordered
I live in florida. Ordered in February (2nd) build date has been pushed back due to lack of parts. So not sure about discounts like Costco but sure you will not get your order quickly. I have a felling I won’t see my order until July

I would definitely custom order as opposed to buying off the lot. No question about it. I'm not sure about Costco pricing. How much is the Costco discount? I got 7% off my custom build without really negotiating at all. The deposit was $2k. From order to delivery will be about 5 months - the middle of which was the Christmas holiday season and all sorts of Covid issues, including a shutdown, in Germany.

Have you ordered a MB? You don’t list it. I almost ordered a E450 cabriolet. Getting any discount was like pulling teeth. Wanted 5k to order. Actually ordered a c300 cabriolet from a different dealer. Offered $800 off a $67k car. Still wanted $5k to order. Says June but who knows?

We got 5% off when we ordered our E53 before they were released from a dealer on the central coast without even trying.
