Hey Mercedes Help
I have 2020 e class but no option showing hey mercedes, am i missing something

It might be disabled, you need go to settings and activate it again, voice activation. Otherwise, you can press the button on the steering wheel to achieve the same thing.

thanks for your reply, i’ve tried pressing voice button but don’t get the wavy lines of hey mercedes also when i go into menu i don’t have the lingotronic option or any voice options so not sure what’s wrong

No nothing
car is 2020 has apple carplay so would have thought it should work.
I’ve had a problem finding software version found that version FUP2 and FUP3 shows in MBUX but if you don’t see this it’s FUP1 or 0 so might have old software that does not support hey mercedes

Yes FUP stands for fresh up.

Wait... you are not under warranty? Then I guess you should look in the settings and see if there is a setting you missed or something.

just a quick update

I emailed local Mercedes dealership asking if my 2020 e class has hey Mercedes, they say it’s build date was 2019 even though it wasn’t registered until 2020 so unfortunately hey Mercedes was not an option on your car.

Just wondering if independent coding would be an option or is car hardware too old.
