Anyone with a 2019 able to connect wirelessly to CarPlay?
my 2019 E53 AMG is my oldest car and I hate having to plug my phone by usb to use Waze or Google Maps

like it a lot. I can plug it in to the USB-C port above the cupholders and still close the lid.

It works good but I have a few bugs. I’m in a garage where I need to back out, if I don’t wait long enough for the CarPlay to fully engage the backup camera use of the screen confuses the device and screen goes blank. The other issue is that usb port is always powered. So if my car is off and I get a call on my phone in the house, the CarPlay jack picks up the call.
so now I only push the device in when I want CarPlay which is still better than using the cable connection.

Interesting. My experience is different. Yes, it takes 10 seconds or so to start up but I haven't seen confusion between the backup camera and the CarPlay device. I also haven't had the issue with the CarPlay picking up the phone when I'm in the house.

Do you think it has to do with the phone used, or the ios version or the build date of the module? Or the software version in the C238?

Do you mind sharing the version of MBUX you have? I understand it is NTG 6 and MBUX 1.0 but there is a revision number.

I just realized the other forum member have a 2019 so it has COMAND with NTG 5.5, you have a 2023 so MBUX 1.0 NTG 6, different infotainment system altogether. That might explain why there are differences.
