after numerous tickets and harassment from the local edmonton police i have decided to take off all my tint completely! i still have some tint on my windsheild but the windsheild is being replaced soon anyway so i left it on. i actually really like it, it looks very very very clean and classy.. who would of known.... coments please compare to the tinted pics i took this weekend..

lol. that sucks. I liked it better with the tint, just because it made the car more appealing. Still looks good though.

I'm actually in the market for darker tint. I'm not sure what percentage to go with though.

Trade the tint for a turbo, then you can say.....screw "the man".
I like it with tint, but without makes it look like you just bought it brand new at a dealer.

no let it like it is now
i dont like the tintend windows on a w124
the interior from a w124 is to beutiful to hide behind tinted windows
but that my opinion.

If you let it like it is now then that alpine and the ps2 are going to look nice to thiefs!! I would do a 23% tint on the back half windows and 35% on the front. You live in canada so i don't think the interior is going to be that hot with the black leather seats in the sun.

The problem is that your tinting the same all around ! California laws and i bet other states and countries say that the two front windows can't be tinted (or atleast look tinted). So that's what i did i went with 21% on the back half and 44% on the front using lumar hp charcoal. NO TICKETS EVER!

I went with 35% on the front and 20% on the rear in my car, you can tell its tinted, but Where I am, they wont bug you about it unless they pull you over for something else.

Are you not allowed to have any tint where you are in canada?

I would think you could do the rears if you want.

I know that here in california, the back windows can be as dark as you want. hell you could paint them black if you wanted, but the fronts you can;t tint, but everyone tints them anyway

hi everyone.. i took the tint off the windshield yesterday and it looks sooooooo clear its amazing. now im going to be with out tint id say for about a month to let the heat die down, and then im re-tinting the 320. Im either going solarguard ( the brand my work carries) in 35% all window and a smaller sun strip on the windshield with a layer of 54% on the whole front. I need to protect my beautiful interior, but i like the clean look it has now, i kinda like people looking at me but ive had bad looks too and i hate that ****. anway i might even go 54% all around for that clean look but still a lil something there aswell. Tint on front windows in canada is completely illegal. back windows arent regulated like u ash its just the problem is i hate dark back windows and light fronts... im picky with everything haha ok im tired as hell.. were a man short at the tint shop tomorrow and its gonna be hell ... later yall

My car has lighter ont he front. at most angles, it looks like it blends, but a direct side view you can see its lighter.

I did that specifically because I hate dark front windows, but I wanted tint, but I wanted the back darker.

I could have done 35 on the side windows, then dark on the back window which also works and looks good.

I have 2 layers of 20% on my side windows (looks like 5%), 55% on the front window, and a layer 20% on the rear glass. My Monte Carlo was tinted to my exact specifications I'm in Florida, too hot to not have dark tints.
