Super sprint exhaust
Does anyone know where I can purchase a Supersprint exhaust for our W124s online or in the northern california area (Sacramento or bay area)?

Damnit, I knew a website since someone on here gave it to me over the phone but I forgot it. I'll try to remember it. I know someone here has one. I think Ben?

checked it out, not there. I even looked at their authorized distributors and none of them are near where I am. They have phone numbers for them but I would at least like a website or store I can go to just to be sure about it. I don't want to call up a number and give some guy my money for a product I haven't seen.

I thought that one of the moderators or members on this board was a dealer for Supersprint. Search?

whoa dude! I'm just saying, it's not helpful since it was three years ago and he doesn't post here anymore so therefore it posting a link that wouldn't get him anywhere wouldn't help. Don't get so offended next time dude.
Anyways, I'll try to find you that website my friend told me about when he ordered the Supersprint exhaust for his car. It sucks that they only offer a muffler for the W124. Where as on the other models they would offer a wide range of mufflers, cat replacements and the works.

At least for the price of a supersprint you're getting somewhat of a cat-back design. The cost of a universal Remus piece is absolutely outrageous. I've also been thinking of hitting up the VW recyclers and see if they have any aftermarket mufflers from Neuspeed, Remus, or any other euro manufacturer and just cut off the muffler end and have a custom pipe made. Its not my official plan but I thought maybe one weekend I'll just drive around Recycle Rd. here in Sac and see what I can find. Thanks to all who've put in their suggestions.

All exhaust are basically the same in my opinion. I believe it's the piping you do which will make it nice and what not. I myself think the 400 dollar prices of the remus's these days is insane. For imports, you can get a full cat-back for that price. lol Anyways, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a flowmaster or magnaflow with a complete custom piping with the resonator removed and what not. It'll be really cheap. Of course until I can find a real AMG exhaust.

We sell magnaflows at work, the universal flowmaster style kind. I know they make a dual tip euro style muffler but I'm not after the high pitch ricer tone. I just want a nice low rumble that isn't noticable in normal driving but roars when you get on the gas.

Unfortunatley not all exhausts are the same. Personally I would go Borla over
Magnaflow. Borla has a lifetime warranty and more power. You'll have to go with a universal but it'll work. Remus is pretty cheap now, I've seen them for $350 on Ebay for the W124's. I know Supersprint would be alot more expensive you're looking in the $600 - 750 range for Supersprint.
Look for a good muffler shop, correct welding and pipe bending is crititcal. And replace that old center muffler with a good aftermarket one.Trust me the trio of new piping, center muffler and performance exhaust will be very noticable . You can spend $800 on a good exhaust but bad install with leaky welds you might as well have just bought a cheap $50 fart can.

Hey, if Chris is a "big dawg" around here, I can live with that, and if he wants me to write a letter of recomendation to transfer to the Universtiy of Hawaii, I'd be glad to do that too.

Actually, if you can write me a letter of recommendation to either UCI or USC then that will be awesome. Universtiy of Hawaii doesn't cut it for my major. thanks!

Hey my sister goes to UCI! But anyways, CaliE320, the center exhaust you speak of is the one where the two pipes merge into a catalytic converter looking object and exit as a single exhaust pipe, correct?
