I finally purchased and installed my S600 style grill. It looks much better than the factory part and allows for more air flow. Its colored grey right now, I may paint it black in the future.

A rock took a chunk of paint off near the center. I've tried to touch it up and repaint the chipped part but I could never get it to look good again.

You don't have any room to talk, because you don't know my friend Chris. I'm sure as hell his car run's way better than your car ever will since that is his main focus. Not everyone here is focused on "looks" in which case if I may add, you haven't done a good job in that area so don't even start with putting someone else' car down.

If you want to be a d!ck and compare who's car is better, your car is way behind mine.

Right on Chris, and I thought I was the only one on this forum who wasn't blind to tackiness. Some of us here have a sense of style, we don't throw mods on a car simply because they fit. And rather than get rims that look like AMG wheels, we actually save up to get the read deal. So if you took a minute to take your head out of your A$$ you'd realize how stupid you are and how weak sauce your ride is.

There is no reason to call one stupid. The w124 has always been a section of the forum which has been informative and helpful even if the mods aren't of our taste. My car is bone stock and i haven't been shunned for that reason. Don't make this a W140 section just like how Maci911 messed up that section. We are a family

I hate S600 grilles, since they are cheap junky parts that always arrived broken when I tried to buy them. They also rattle around on my car and don’t seem to fit just right, so I decided to just hate them. I think the inserts may be a bit better for the older style grilles, so perhaps you will have better luck.

I like the idea that W124 car owners are part of a friendly loving family.

My 1995 E320 is pretty nice.

i got no beef but buddys got a BIG mouth we all love the w124 but we all have are opinion on what make's the car look good so you have to live with that and thats that. and anyway i got a brand new engine that never skips and runs just like it's new.
