small new mod - Super Rare!
Well This was next to impossible to get. Even with the part number, the dealer cannot get this, nor can any parts people I contacted around the globe.
How did I get it?
Well my Brother works for the Beverly Hills Mercedes Dealer. And he recently Picked himself up a brand new 2006 C230 Sport. This is the same knob that comes on his car. he had to order it as a replacement part for his car against his vin, as if his car's shift knob was defective.
And to boot it was super expensive, but he got it for me as a gift.
I managed to remove the leather shift boot on it, but I plan on somehow making that fit on my car.
I already had the Shaft Adapter, so it was a simple install.
So Check it out and Enjoy!
BTW, pic taken with my new cell phone. not too bad huh?
I am still undecided on if I like the phone, so far its not bad, but I may decide to exchange it for something else.

looks good - Too bad I knew about this a long time ago!
Anyways, My friend Christian has actually made a switch on the inside of his car wired to open the door locks. Pretty cool small mod.
by the way Alon - I'm getting tired of my silver interior trim ... I might switch over to full black or carbon fiber soon.
Also, Can you give me the part number for that Shift knob? I'm going to see if my friend who's a Parts Department Manager can order it for me.

Interior is not finished, so you don;t get any more pics until I finish it, though those that have been to a meeet have seen it in person the way it looks. the seats are creme. I have been working to replace the interior to all black or two tone I am still undecided. I have 2 tone black and creme rear panels, but all black door panels.... I have black rear seat backs, but creme seat bottoms, and the creme seats and the headliner, rear c pillar panels, rear deck, and sun visors.
The interior trim is simple. I used Sign Vinyl. The beauty is that it is removable if you ever want go back to the wood, and all you have to do is to get the adhesive that sticks to the wood off which is not hard at all.
The phone, LG VX9800 For verizon. 1.3MP Camera on it. Pretty cool, but not sure if I am 100% in love with the phone. I had the option of getting this or the Razr for $99.99. I chose this, the razr is a cool phone, but so over played out, everybody and their mother has one. I have always had motorola flip phones too, never had another brand, but I decided to give this phone a shot. I am liking the phone, size is not that bad, but I am debating on whether I like the reception of the phone, sound quality is amazing on it. speaker phone is the best I have used, camera is the best I have seen on a phone besides the nokia N90, which I couldn;t use with verizon anyway.
Chris RE: The part number for the shift knob, I don;t have it handy, I will look for the box the shift knob came in. As far as I know, you have to order it against a Vin number for a car that came with the knob. My brother Works for the dealer, and the parts guys there could not get it. the part number will show up as invalid in their systems. My brother said it was a huge pain in the *** to get it. He had to do jump through many hurdles to get it, but I'll get you the part number when I find the box its somewhere around here.

Once you are done, that will most def. be unique Abraham. What happened to your rear bumper? Did you ditch that plan? I can't wait to see both of these projects be fully done. They will be insane ( Alon's and Abraham's )

Abraham, your project is definately going to be unique, with a lot more blood sweat and tears put into it than any of ours.
Can't wait to see how those modded bumpers are going to look on your car.
Wheels always make a huge difference

One thing I don't know if i should keep the updated license plate panel? I kinda like the older look?.....I just need those side skirts so i can start on the body work...I was thinking of using 92+ side skirts and also shaving the side moldings for a smooth look. I was thinking of shaving the rear door handles too?...it's a lot of work and i only have sundays to do it...which sucks!
