Found another W124 to chase after.
So, the 300 4Matic turned out to be something I didn't want to chase after, so here's another for sale close by:

Its at a local new-car lot that I know pretty well...been there before to check out various Subarus. I haven't seen it in person yet, probably go to inspectify it on Monday.
I've been looking up other threads at this board for info, but what do you guys think about this particular example? I don't know what the reserve is. It looks decent enough. What do you guys think its worth? Help is appreciated, as always!

Inspect this car carefully, I found this in its carfax report:

At that time it had about 175k on the clock.

$1200 - $1800 (considering the wounded carfax + miles)
But, for $3000-$4000 you might be able to drop 35-50% of the miles...and get a car that might save you thousands in the long run.
My opinion only, it is hard to put a real price on these cars because it depends on which kind of buyer is involved. With those miles, there are few buyers intreested...but most of us here consider these cars better than the other choices at that dollar point.
Our 18 yr old and our 22 yr old both have nice new or nearly new $13000 hyundai elantras. What great bargains!
-But I'd take your $2000 200K mile car over the hyundais any day of the week, as long as it runs well.
