There is a GTG/Cruise to Galveston coming up in a couple of weeks. Its open to all makes/models/brands, so let's represent W124. You can also invite your friends if they drive "other" cars.

Check it out:

If you don't start changing your oil, you'll have to get used to being towed.

Wal-Mart sells 5q jugs of Mobil 1 for $20-$25 bucks. I got five genuine MB oil filters on ebay for $20!

So, even if you change your oil three times a year, it shouldn't cost more than $120 per year to do it yourself.

Word, I'm too lazy to change my oil though. Done it once and don't plan on doing it again myself anytime soon.

Maybe I'll just ask the mechanics at my work to do it for me and I'll just buy them lunch.

Beer will probably work better.

That's just it, it's not an MB event, it's a car event. Even eggmobiles are allowed.

Me and my dad are driving out to Arizona to pick up a '62 T-Bird, so I may pass through there.

When? Are you taking I-10? If so, you'll be driving within 15 minutes of where I live.

It's Sunday 2/25. We're going to meet up at 11:00, leave for Galveston at 11:45, eat, take buttloads of pictures, come back. It should be cool. We need more w124s there to properly represent!

I really wish I could make it, but I think I will be a day shy of your leave time. Oh well, maybe next year.
