Looking for a 300CE
I thought the 1992 model year was the last year with the 24v 3.0L engine.
And the 1993 model year was badged 300CE,prefacelift and had the 3.2L engine. The subsequent 94 and 95 coupes had the facelift and the 3.2L engines.
I examined and drove (superb!) a 1992 300CE and I thought it had the 3.0L 24v engine.
I'm off now to look at a '93 300CE Sportline, high miles but I want to compare it with the stock suspension I drove yesterday which handled superbly, I was traveling at least 20mph faster than I though on backroads...
Cheers,
Mik
- 88-89 has the same M103 12 valve engine with CIS-E as the 300E
- 90-91 has the early 3.0L 104 24 valve with CIS-E
- 92-93 has the later more common 3.2L M104 24 valve with HFM-SFI
- 94-95 has the 3.2L M104 with HFM-SFI, renamed E320 coupe with new styled hood, headlights, and trunk

Powerpig, I see you like to park very close to curbs, so what is the condition of those AMG's?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
